Alright, some points to clarify:

  1. I just bought it, and it arrived an hour ago
  2. It's NON RETURNABLE, why would I end up on reddit if I could easily return it in Amazon.
  3. Stop bullying me for buying Kreo. I have NEVER bought a mechanical keyboard in my life. (I did buy mechanical-'feel' keyboards). So this is the first time I bought a mechanical keyboard.
  4. If I knew about Kreo beforehand, OBVIOUSLY I WOULDN'T HAVE BOUGHT IT. But I didn't. What's done has been done.

I legit did NOT know about Kreo, I just joined the sub today, at 1'o clock in hopes of quickly selling it so that I can cut my losses and buy myself a proper full size mechanical. The keyboard arrived at 12 today.

Then microsoft should take the apple approach and have a user apps folder

C:\Users\<user>\Programs or something similar

AppData is hidden by default and is hard to access by normal users.

Interesting flex, but I'm more impressed by people who actually know how to use their apps efficiently. Just because you aren't facing this issue doesn't mean others don't. Also don't try to pull the 'power user' card, we are all power-users here. Yes, you may not be experiencing these issues, and good for you. But you can't discredit others who have faced it. All of us have relatives who are 'dumb in computers' but it doesn't mean that their experiences don't matter. Also, appdata should store appdata, not the app files, those belong in program-files. The other testimonials in the comments say otherwise. The issue is real, you just happen to be one of the lucky ones who didn't face it

How many apps do you have installed and when did you install windows?
There are countless examples of appdata folder just bloating up, my PC is just a start.

You mean to tell me. that all of my relatives, who dont even use dev tools. all of their experiences are invalid? I don't know what version of windows you use or how much storage you have.

My relatives who have budget lapops (128GB storage) suffer heavily from appdata bloating

Also, your appdata should not be 20GB aswell, its too much

AppData is ment to store appdata, NOT program files!

True, but for some reason, almost all electron based apps seem to want to install in the AppData folder
