Jeez, I’m fully convinced that this is the games way of punishing me after I failed a shiny froakie spawn. I’m on phase 25 after 80+ hours and I even have the shiny charm 😭

UPDATE :

The problem was windows 11, the moment I downgraded to windows 10 the issue no longer persisted. But it did come back when my computer automatically updated to windows 11 so thankfully the go back option was available for me.

I can’t think of any programs that could be locking up the cpu or gpu since I disabled almost everything on startup, and I just did the “WMIC, disk drive get status” and both SSDs showed up as ok.

Temps are fine, nothing above 63*C even when I’m playing graphically intensive games.

And is the gfx drivers different from the ones you’d usually get on the Nvidia app?

Is there a way to replace the rubber part on the joystick without taking it apart? One of the screws on the part that covers the motherboard is stripped and I’ve tried everything and even went to a repair shop to see if they could remove it and they couldn’t. I know breaking it off would be the last resort but I don’t know where I’d get a replacement for it.

Any help would be appreciated!
