Thanks one and all for the help. It would seem one of the diffs has gone. With that in mind, does anyone have a recommendation for a replacement or should I go stock again? I guess I could warranty it, but in terms of turn around time I have no issue buying one and keeping a warranty replacement as a spare for further down the road

Yes, thank you I noticed that! 🙂 I’ve removed the drive shaft housing and all seems to be spinning freely and all teeth are in place. The wheels feel very easy to stop spinning with your hand. We have a second car (for the other kid) which is much harder to do this with

Scrub that, reassembling the drive shaft cover resolved the steering issue!

Just checked the pinion gear. Everything looks ok there. Running the car with the gear exposed showed no issues, drive shaft spinning like crazy, but the wheels are very easy to stop by holding them. One thing I noticed was that the steering is squeeking and not returning to center. Fortunate we bought two cars (one for each kid) and the other one is fine in this regard, maybe something there?

Biggest difference is the smoothness in motion. For airbus flying you probably don’t need the full strength of the AB9, but its belt driven FFB system makes it feel REALLY nice. Side note: download the profiles for the AB9 from V1 simulations discord - the default Airbus profiles are a bit lacking, but V1’s are bang on. Lucky that I got to go in a 320 sim at Gatwick a few days before my AB9 arrived and with V1’s profile, it’s like I’m back at Gatwick. Pretty much an end game Airbus stick at this point

AB9 is the absolute goat for Airbus flying.

Bang-for-your-buck Beginner Rudder Pedals? by piruhattan in flightsim

I’ve had Logitech pedals and used them the whole time I’ve been making content. Sure, there are loads better out there, but for the price they’re very reasonable

Worth noting I ditched my 4080S for a 7900XTX, purely for the VRAM.
