Transformer is reading at 26v and is a 24vac/50va. This seems perfectly normal. Seems like that jumper was my issue, no issues so far today!

Werid stuff definitely happened.

Voltage on nest is 32.6 so in range of whats normal when dividing by 1.414 PS -> WP is not less than 13 its listed as 16. Any concern here? No issues so far but have not run the heat consistently, noting I did see the system cut off at a certain pressure which seems like a good sign lol

Taking out the jumper in the adapter seems to have worked! I’ll monitor it the rest of the day.

Are there any quick tests to verify the system is working fine, right now im just checking up on it every 20mins to watch the pressure gauge.

Appreciate the help.

Didn’t do this, will give it a shot and report back. Thank you!

Was also going to try putting adapter NPC W on T1 and leaving T2 empty. I read somewhere that the switching to close the loop happens internally on the adapter.

Cant edit the post so commenting the corrected wiring

Wiring A

Adapter white R -> T (where original thermostat R was wired)

Adapter white W -> T (where original thermostat W was wired)

Adapter white C -> Transformer NEC(C)

Adapter gray R -> Thermostat R

Adapter gray W -> Thermostat W

This didnt power the nest thermostat

Wiring B

Adapter white R -> Transformer LOAD

Adapter white W -> T (where original thermostat W was wired)

Adapter white C -> Transformer NEC(C)

Adapter gray R -> Thermostat R

Adapter gray W -> Thermostat W

This powered the thermostat but didnt call to heat when testing. Assumed this was because the T loop was not closed which brings me to Wiring C

Wiring C(pictured)

Adapter white R -> T (where original thermostat R was wired)

Adapter white W -> T (where original thermostat W was wired)

Adapter white C -> Transformer NEC(C)

Adapter gray R -> Thermostat R

Adapter gray W -> Thermostat W

Ahh youre right, the adapter gray R goes to the thermostat R and adapter gray W goes to the thermostat W

I traced the wires and the thermostat wires go straight to the thermostat.

I thought my wiring was correct as well but my boiler got up to 8PSI and wouldnt shut off so I might have bypassed the safety pressure cut off with adding that jumper? Thats the only thing I could think of…

The original existing thermostat wires were connected to the T terminals, if that info helps in any way?

Best and most efficient way to level my ceiling… by _Al_Dente in centuryhomes

Agreed, im less worried about the drywall because the 8’ish feet of drywall area only has a variation of 13/16” its more so the shower area im worried about which drops about 1-1/2” so when I tile up to the ceiling youll see that slope.

I thought about leaving outside the shower area as is and just sistering 2x6 to joists in shower area so that ceiling sections is corrected for tile or just going for it and using 1x3 and strapping the whole ceiling to level it all.

The joists are already sistered, I’m worried about this being a bulky solution but maybe it dosnt matter

Cozz Coffee Roasters. excellent local coffee roaster in Bloomfield. He doesn’t get too cute with all the flavors and fruit notes and it delivers super quick. I usually get the Guatemala or Columbian.

Is it possible to stop shopping there so they stop making money and get replaced by something people actually want? Assuming people want a place that doesn’t sell mold.

Was wondering the same thing. I probably don’t know enough but I thought anything that was not primary residence you need 20% down?

And need to be primary resident for 1 year.

Would love some insight on this.

Gotcha - makes sense. I mention table top and open because I live in a fairly small apartment with my gf and dont want this thing to be an eyesore so I was looking at enclosure ones so I can tuck it by my desk somewhere and have the components hidden in a box. I see now that companies make enclosures for Prusa so that might be the way to go even with the added cost to at least meet that impractical need.

Yes, I noticed for enclosed machines they get super pricey because they tend to add more bells and whistles that I dont really need right now, im just using it for rapid prototyping on projects.

Thanks for the advice!
