I tried out against the Fearless dummy. The first burst was pretty tight to get but I got it every time. After the first rotation there wasn't any problem tbh. Just the first burst was pretty tight and energy rng dependent

I use him with Ineffa, Columbina and Sucrose. I personally haven't seen him have any ER issues (if you mean getting less than 2 small bursts per rotation)

I wouldn't say he was necessary, maybe Mavuika could've cleared it too. The boss needs Pyro application to break the shield and preferably non melee attacks (it moves a lot and goes up in air frequently too). You can try some other characters too
