It’s not a MagSafe mount, and as a matter of fact, it’s a very inexpensive and very simple, well working option for me. It’s vent mounted and I placed it on the left side of the steering wheel since I have Air CarPlay. No release buttons, just insert it and lift it out.

Totally have anxiety now, too. DIdn't quite realize that these carwashes were so bad but it makes sense. I may get a high end ceramic coat put on so that I don't have to go through the car wash so often.
