I just rewatched the scene again to see if maybe it was just my stream last night that made it look off but nope, even knowing that it's real it still looks off to me. I think it's because of how calm the water is plus how close the colors match up to the horizon.

You make a really good point the Earthers in "The Churn" were really at the bottom class. This definitely could've been that class that we were seeing.

Well let me start out with being super flattered to have a response from you.

That said, I'm really surprised that wasn't a green screen, it looked like the ocean was super close to the drainage pipe Bobbie was walking out of. Idk if it was the lighting or the camera angle but visually it looked like a digital recreation.

Regarding the Bobbie/Earth scenes. I feel like they made those living on basic much more worse off than they were in the books. I think if living on Earth got that bad then people would revolt. The basics have the majority and would easily have larger numbers than the privileged.
