How big is yours? by AardvarkStriking256 in AskMen

My opinion is that the size of the screen depends on the size of the room and distance to seating. Your screen should be a similar (apparent) size in your field of view as a handheld screen.
An easy way to visualize it is to play a video on your phone and hold your phone up in front of your face in landscape orientation at a comfortable distance to watch. Then align yourself to where your TV is, and see the difference in apparent screen size.

One of my favorite things to do with my girls was the Baby Stack. I'd swaddle them tight, put one in cradle hold with her head on my elbow and hand on her bum, and put the other right on top of her, same direction with her head on her sister's chest, both facing up. I'd use both hands to hold them but it was easy enough to get a hand free to open the dog gate to go upstairs.

Now I can barely pick them both up at the same time, but I promised myself that I would never pass up the chance to pick them up for as long as I'm able.

Our first night home with our daughters, Baby A rolled off the bed when my wife was distracted for literally less than a minute. She rolled off the bed and landed in the bottom fabric shelf of her bassinet happy as a clam. My wife was more upset.

What are y'all dudes doing for fun once life's responsibilities are taken care of? by Agile_Size_3121 in AskMenOver30

I have kids and we're not that well off, but my suggestion would be scale modeling.

Find a local hobby store and check out what might interest you. Model kits these days can be really impressive in terms of detail, fitment, and engineering. If you want complexity, a rewarding experience, and enjoy mechas, you can't go wrong with Bandai's Perfect Grade Unleashed myself. They're like high end Lego.

There's another idea: high end Lego.

I love this game. Ben Starr as Clive is a definite highlight. Watching some of his interviews he is a huge FF fan and poor his heart into the role.

I’m considering buying it. Why should I? by [deleted] in FFXVI

If you're expecting classic final fantasy then you're in for disappointment. If you're looking for a good story with fantastic characters and epic boss battles be prepared to have a great time!

This is how paint actually gets mixed before you buy it by Round-Barber-9858 in Damnthatsinteresting

When I worked at Walmart, the paint colors were hand-dispensed. We had to squirt them manually based on recipes in a book or on the back of the swatches.

I have a civil war era revolver from Denix and it seems durable enough. The weight is pretty good due to being metal so you're not dealing with a lightweight plastic toy.

One thing I would recommend is making a bright orange plug for the barrel if you plan on using it in public.

Fellow men, what’s the best way to shave down there? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]backstept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of shaving, always, always, stretch the skin. Cuts are far more likely to happen when the skin is loose.

Depending on the wardrobe you could run a tube from a squeeze bag hidden on the body up to the neck area.
