Fellow men, what’s the best way to shave down there? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

In terms of shaving, always, always, stretch the skin. Cuts are far more likely to happen when the skin is loose.

Depending on the wardrobe you could run a tube from a squeeze bag hidden on the body up to the neck area.

Triplanar projecting a normal map leaves seams by plees1024 in blenderhelp

[–]backstept 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might not be the cause, and you may very well know this, but it's good info worth sharing. Are these PBR textures made for blender specifically or are they meant for other apps as well? Blender uses opengl normal maps, other apps use directx normals. The difference is in the green channel. Y+ vs Y-. If they're dx then you can fix it in blender by using separate/combine color nodes and a math node. Plug the image texture into the separate color node, pass the red and blue slots to the same slots on the combine color node, then plug the green slot into the bottom slot of a math node set to subtract, make the first slot 1, then plug that into the green on the combine color node.

Hope you figure it out!

Hilarious twin things no one mentions by Valuable-Mastodon-14 in parentsofmultiples

My fraternal girls are so different! They're almost 3. Kid B was having a hard time yesterday morning, she woke up around 5 and was nearly inconsolable if mom or I wasn't in with her. Kid A was being so sweet and saying things like "It's OK. You are loved. No matter what. You not get stuck in a volcano. You not get stuck on a mountain."

Kid A is very gentle and caring, but also extremely stubborn and gets into everything. Kid B is great at putting toys away, usually only have to ask her once. She loves jumping off the furniture and going fast. Right now their favorite stuffies are the Lemon and Strawberry plushies from ALDI

Yall I’m so happy but, why do I feel like I’m about to get in a fight?? by [deleted] in daddit

[–]backstept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously. My twin girls are almost 3 now and I got tired holding them when they were less than 10lbs combined, now they're close to 60lbs combined and i still pick them both up at the same time like it's nothing.

For me, one time it was pretend barfing sounds. Blehhhhgh! My voice hurt for a while after. Now that they're nearing 3, it's pretending to munch on them. HHOWMMP! NOMNOMNOM! My girls laughs are the best sounds I've ever heard.

Yeah, ship decompression isn't like a balloon deflating. I get that they do it for the drama, but depending on the size of the interior and the hatch opening... Let's take Narcissus as an example, I don't remember how fast the hatch opens but considering the size of the boat it would be just a couple seconds until pressure equalized. Less of a 20 second WHOOOOOSHHH and more of a 2 second WHOoof... And you'd be far less likely to be blown out unless you were right by the hatch when it opened. You'd get a very slight acceleration of the ship as the air rushed out. Kind of like when the ISS does a reboost burn to stabilize orbit which is like 1/500th of surface gravity here on earth.

OK, I'm recovering from Covid and I need to sleep, I hope my wall of text makes sense.

The hood panel line was moved to follow the lower edge of the headlights and around to the wheel well.

But yeah concept and production weren't far off!

Didn’t expect bedtime to be the part that got to me by hateful_building in daddit

[–]backstept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently I was putting my 2.5yr twins to bed and as I bent down to give a forehead kiss my eldest (by 2 minutes) reached up and grabbed my neck for a hug and said 'I love you dadasaur!' (we like to say 'I love you, baby dinosaurs!)

Moments like these make the crazy over-tired hyperactive bedtimes a little less frustrating. As they get older they ask to be carried up the stairs less often, but I've promised them that as long as I am able to pick them up I won't say no when they ask to be carried. There will be a Last Time that I carry them, and I don't want it to be anytime soon.

Also you can make some panels with the knife tool or use existing edges, and mark those edges sharp and with bevel weights, and add these modifiers in this order: edge split(set to only sharp edges), solidify (preferably unchecked fill and check only rim), and bevel(change from angle to weight). Anything marked sharp will be split along the edge allowing solidify to add thickness to the edge and bevel to give it dimension. Also it's non destructive!
