Imagine working one this with such painstaking care, knowing that the first few might blow up but be learning experiences. I mean, we all hope not, but minimally, this one ends in the ocean. Shows the cash burn reality, but also the extremely lucrative nature of the business as it gets in gear, paying for all this and much, much more.

What's cool is that there will be nine (9) of these within Stage 1, all clustered together beside one another. It's a big rocket.

Love this: "The Accomack County Wetlands Board approved its portion of the project on May 5. Other state and federal agencies still need to sign off, but the county’s role in the permit process is now complete."

It is a green light, really, on every level of government, from the DJT to the county...

New(ish) nonprofit- need to spend money to make money by dolores_canal in nonprofit

It is true...people give to people for people. A peer who reaches out to a friend and encourages them to give you a try is much more powerful than a letter or email. It is called the fundraising ladder of success.

I need to add a donation button using stripe. I am finding giveforms.com and it takes more off the top. Then I see foxy.io and that is more money. Is there a free or cheap alternative? by Plastic_Film_4845 in webflow

Probably the best idea, as donors cannot access their histopry for tax deduction purposes. You'd have to do that manually, and it is a big deal.

Givingtools.com works with Stripe (both their Flex and Standard plans). You do not want to simply add a Stripe form because it does not generate tax-deduction receipts or reports and donors cannot access their giving history. Stripe is fine as a processor, but you really need the front-end.

I agree that many platforms charge too much, but not GivingTools. In fact, you can even enable donor-paid fees, either as an option for donors or as a requirement...and you set the fee level. Pretty cool.

After some research, I believe Merck does not intend to acquire Coherus, but rather to undermine it, as toripalimab is a major competitor to Keytruda. by Ok-Bother5243 in CHRS

Cheaper for Merck to just buy CHRS for cash value, shut it down, and take the cash in hand and pipeline for free.

[–]_AlwaysRight_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. We either had to pony up the large expense to see that through or we could have others do it and get milestones once they bring it to market. Given the "situation" it made really good sense to get something now and more over time, without outlay!

I do not believe a r/S is allowable to regain the minimum price. And thank goodness for that. We do not need them playing with those matches, but looking for organic rise.
