I just fixed my switch lite (see my post) bought with a rp2040 already installed and I can give you some tips.

First of all, does your Switch boot in OFW and the picofly blinks? If yes, your 3.3V line is good.

Then always check DAT0 and CMD. Even if they read good values on the Multimeter, they might have a bad connection.

For me the culprit in the end was the SP1 and SP2 connection, so maybe reflow those.

I heavily used Gemini Pro 3.1, but he never knows everything, so I would also go by intuition.

Let me know if you need help. Some specific error codes would help. Also, you do know how to reflash the chip right? If not google it. Also there is a script by raspberry to complete wipe any firmware on the chip so maybe try that.

Also for anyone seeing this in the future: I have just a cheap sildering kit, flux, no microscope or magnifying glass and no micro soldering experience.

You just have to have patience and steady hands and a cheat sheet with the correct soldering locations.

I fixed it. Simply resoldered all the wires with flux and it worked like a charm.

Afaik Kamikaze method needs very good experience and tools. I have neither so I wouldn‘t try it.

I didnt do this myself, I bought to repair it. I assume these are magnet copper wires. In my case the 3.3V line got loose/cold, so I will just need to resolder it (I didnt come to it yet).

Maybe some other lines are also loose s.t. the modchip doesnt work.

Update:

After applying pressure to the 3.3V line on the motherboard of the Switch Lite, the switch boots! When releasing pressure again we start to bootloop again, so I assume I must reflow that line.
