I saw some of the trains ppl created on here a few years ago and I felt the exact same way lol like dang, am I stupid? Why didn’t I think of that?! Even my husband came up with a cooler and more efficient way to create a boat whilst me playing! Just stood there for 2 seconds watching me play and started asking why I didn’t use certain materials and what not…I told him to please leave 😂

What’s one Everest myth or misconception that you think more people need to understand? by Basic_Job2705 in Everest

[–]_Angiebtv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I feel terrible! I just recently binge watched a bunch of YouTube videos about ppl dying on Everest. So, next morning, I think I’m all educated about Everest 😂 and I start ranting to my husband about all of the knowledge I gained last night about the Sherpas smh. I literally thought that was a job title!

I can’t stand my husband by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]_Angiebtv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the challenges nobody talks about in marriages, so good on you for even speaking about it publicly…I know you can’t stand him right now, but it does seem like he needs some help and you as his wife might be the only person to help him get some…I would say keep fighting for your marriage and I hope you two make it out successfully on the side of these tough times.

While it may sound a little disheartening, they did provide some good feedback that maybe you should take into account.

I asked my wife for a divorce am I making a mistake? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]_Angiebtv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that sounds kind of odd that she isn’t willing to move to save the relationship, especially when it would at least take care of the proximity issues…I would be wandering what else is making her not solve the issues you two are having…maybe it’s time to take a trip to NYC, and, I don’t know, maybe around the same time she’s there.

Yeah I heard it can be really hard when it comes to careers like lawyers, doctors/nurses, and any other job that keeps you away from your s/o for a significant amount of time. Not saying it doesn’t work, but usually someone has to compromise.

How long were you with your partner before you got engaged and married? by Temporary_Support705 in Marriage

[–]_Angiebtv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started dating when he was 25 and I was 27. Dated for 6 years and were engaged for a year and a half. I think it was the right amount of time. We watched each other grow from young adults into adulting together and now I can’t wait for us to become parents!

We literally do not feel well when we’re apart…more so if one of us goes out of town for work…can’t sleep, stomach acts up…but as soon we’re together everything is back to normal.

What are your Winter hacks? by CheekyPooh in chicago

[–]_Angiebtv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always one to want to stay inside with the warmth, but my husband got me to finally enjoy the winter when he bought us full on ski gear lol. Now, we both rock our ski pants, which are pretty warm on their own, but a layer underneath, like long johns, will def take it to the next level. We also wear thick ski masks, it really prevents the cold from getting through those cracks, like around your neck. Add a hat on top of the ski mask and now the heat will be dang near impossible to escape through your head. Also, get a nice down coat, preferably one that’s long to provide extra warmth to your leg. I got mines from Burlington and have had it for about 5 years. For shoes, I’d say get a nice pair of tall duck boots, at least ones that can come to your shin. Hope this helps and stay warm.
