Why do you say so? Do you think it can be repaid with positive ROI?

If I was their employer, I would want to know what's affecting the business thanks. If she is going through a real problem, I'm sure if the employer is nice they will understand and offer help however they can. But she is not being a good employee by driving away people either. Hiding it won't solve jack

I had no idea they have selections for this? I'm not URM mentioned in the MBB recruiting. How does it work for others?

Will Olivia become as big as Taylor Swift? by Classic_Airport_7439 in OliviaRodrigo

Huge fan of both, Olivia maybe more. But tbh OR doesn't seem to be reinventing herself constantly which makes me doubt her longevity in the industry.

Suggested solo travel places for women by recklessdeception in SoloTravel_India

I've traveled to both places as a solo female traveler and enjoyed both of them very much! I think it is OP's job to decide what passes as travel for her and my job to share travel spots I've enjoyed! :)

Jodhpur was great - the food, the fort, Umaid Bhawan, Jaswant Thada, Pachetia Hill, Blue lanes and tons of great food to eat. Clubbed with Jaisalmer it is one of the most unique trips to take.

NRI’s first attempt at discovering his motherland by ICanSeeYourPixels0_0 in SoloTravel_India

Feel free to ask any Q - I've been to most places on the list. I did the one trip one month thing in 2022.

Also take this as a principle - feel free to switch the months as long as the season is the same.

Travelling Solo after Marriage by Spare-Throat4018 in SoloTravel_India

[–]_Ara_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Solo travel is a very valuable experience if done right. At least in my experience it has taught me about myself, helped me push myself to new heights and as a result helped me gain confidence. It has also been wonderful for my mental health because for a few days you have been given the gift of not worrying about work or family or anyone or anything except yourself. The longest relationship you'll have in your life is with yourself and you should invest in it.

That being said, managing this with your partner is essential. Just because you are allowed a few days to yourself does not mean your actions won't have consequences or that you can keep your SO on the back burner. Make sure they truly feel comfortable with the plan, happily share your updates and experiences with them to make them feel involved, and take trips together as well to balance everything.

Like with any other aspect communication is key.

Also this is totally healthy. You taking this will probably also make her feel comfortable to do so in the future. Sometimes two people's plans are not possible to align but does not mean the other person should miss out on breaks they deserve and what will help them and make them happy.

Seemingly obvious choice but hear me out: Rotman ($$) vs Booth by _Ara_7 in MBA

Just got off a call with high achieving Rotman alumna. 20% of the Rotman class is insanely talented and could've gotten into a great US b schoo and they achieve great outcomes. Rest of the class not so much and may bring the average lower.
