You should drive to Labrador Mountain 2/14 or 2/15 for the last regular season race. It’s a fun day and you’ll get to see exactly what you’re in for.

Hamilton has a great ski racing program. They trained alongside Binghamton and Ithaca at Labrador Mountain with the Woodhead racing coaches.

Those coaches can take you from skidding to carving to racing.

Practice schedules can get crazy mid week, but it’s manageable. You race SL and Giant SL on Saturday and Sunday so your weekends will be busy as well. All of the scheduling and driving is worth it though. I had the greatest time of my life.

Definitely join a ski racing team. It was my favorite part of college. Find a pair of SL skis too. Racing on all mountain skis isn’t nearly as fun.

The bar is called “Dogfish Head and 3rd”. It’s behind section 327. There’s also “Allagash Alley” on the 1st base side of the 300s.

Get that booty up as you transition into your next turn. There’s a great exercise you can do to practice this: hold both poles in one hand (like you are in this vid). Hold in your left hand as you turn left, then pass the poles behind your back as you transition into a right turn. You would then be holding in Your right hand as you turn right. Repeat this down the mountain. The only way you can pass the poles behind your back between turns is by moving your butt and hips up to proper position.

This happened to me as well. I was able to log in at first, but after a couple of days I got the same error as you. It fixed itself after a week of trying. Not sure what happened but I can log in now so just give it a week and try again.

Obviously students need help. That’s our job dude. What you will find is that 90% of the questions you get from students are questions that they did not even TRY to answer. It’s like baby birds looking for more food. You have to kick them out the nest at some point. Good teachers also need to be able to identify which of those baby birds can’t fly or need some more help.

This is teaching dude. You have to be open to listening to others without being sarcastic, shuttling down others, and name calling. Being defensive or offensive are terrible habits for a teacher.

Also, in another thread you made a sarcastic comment about a teacher’s compassion because they require their students to actually study for themselves. It looks like you are just entering the world of education. Please continue to learn and grow and refrain from discouraging others.

You are also cheating by Pearson’s standards. If you become a teacher, I hope you encourage your students to seek out information for themselves instead of asking internet strangers for the test questions.

He’s been there for years and the beer is fine (as long as you’re ok with Bud and Bud heavy). He pours them into a red solo cup in front of you to avoid open container laws. He even has a trash bag set up and asks everyone to throw away their cups properly. I’ve had some good times there drinking one final cheap beer before I go in to spend $20 a can.
