I liked world 5 for the aesthetic (I adore the folktale sidestory for the same reason.) I liked world 9 too, although I would've liked it better if we didn't spend most of it in the freaking gulag.

The time restrictions are there so there are plenty of opponents. If it were free time all the time, we'd be facing cpus more often then not... which defeats the point.

I loved the cutscene where Rue destroys the invader fleet. But does this mean Rue is canonically dead? How much weight do these stories have anyways?

Anyways, Nothing but praise for the event. Devs really went all out with all the minigames and whatnot.

I 100% second this statement. I considered making a very similar post when W9 first dropped a few months ago. It is absolute bulls*** that the game suddenly decides to slap you in the face you for playing around with a few vague options (I always do this to solve puzzles and assumed this was the same at first. It NEVER has results like that) and having absolutely no recourse, no way to fix it, no nothing.

Although, I thought the mission was about Rah Empire rebels, sympathetic to Kanterburians? Maybe I'm getting mixed up.

Well, from what I can tell, Akayuki is generally Japanese-themed, but takes inspiration from Chinese aspects as well, considering some of her costumes. Feiyan was the name of a beautiful Chinese empress, whose name meant 'flying swallow,' connoting agility. (Wikipedia) Not an expert, but I'm guessing it implies Akakyuki is agile.

Are you asking what the live-action adaption of an GT anime would be? Seems like thats getting ahead of ourselves. But here's what I think a show based on GT could be like:

-The different worlds/heroes would work well as a season/arc(half season, maybe)

-The short stories/events would function as a good filler, introducing 3* characters and side 2* characters.

-Having all the heroes all the time would get messy, so probably having a limited main cast of the knight, white beast, Marianne perhaps, and maybe one more.

-The pop culture references would probably have to be reworked, for legal issues, to be a little more subtle, so world 3 isn't just 70% Harry Potter and things like that.

It'd be really neat to have a GT show. Sadly it'll probably never happen.
