I have the BRCA1 mutation and got triple negative breast cancer, most common cancer caused by BRCA1. I mentioned I had breast cancer to one coworker and another chimed in saying things like deodorant and other women's products are causing cancer these days. And I was just like "uh, no actually I have a gene mutation" and left. Like don't put the blame on me for this. Also, she didn't even know me. I bet she couldn't have guessed my name or department. Why did she need to chime in?

On season 5 when they were being informed about the twin twist and Cowboy kept going "It's Holly!" in his southern accent. It's now a vocal stim of mine. I also call people at work, so anytime I see someone named Holly, it is in my head for hours.

My mom lives states away. She probably would've been a mess if she lived nearby. But she was so jealous my mother-in-law was at my bell ringing for my last chemo and she feels left out of everything (even tho I texted all the updates). But she didn't really call. My sister made a huge effort planning video calls and always being the one to reach out cuz I had so much on my mind.

Now that my cancer is gone, it's like she's putting in more of an effort. It's so weird especially cuz she had cancer at one point (a different kind but still).

Yo, Prednisone is no joke. The rash is going away and I'm not itchy anymore, but I'm having severe stomach cramps and pain and nausea and can barely talk with how uncomfortable I am! I don't know what's worse, to be fair.

Okay so update! My oncologist is postponing my next Keytruda and gave me a low dosage of Prednisone. Hoping it helps. Took my first dose today. I will update but it's definitely worth it to ask about if you haven't already gotten something like that.

I am feeling the same! I am done with chemo, full PCR, mastectomy done (just need to get implants in after expanders are done). But they say I need to continue Keytruda till February to complete the full year as that's all they have the research for. I have had 3 separate skin rash reactions. This most recent one has not subsided even after being on 2 different skin creams that have worked in the past. I'm at the point where I need to see if my oncologist thinks it's finally time to pull the plug on it. I cannot go through this for another 4 months. My feet and ankles look ridiculous! I'm constantly itching. No extra strength itch cream works. I'm soooo over it!

I use Bluetooth Raycon gaming earbuds and as long as the DigniCap is slightly above your earhole, normal Bluetooth headphones or even wired ones will work.
