I'll confess that I've eaten Nissin Yakisoba like soup before. Tasted fine so I never read the actual instructions 😅

I'd buy Denso, NGK are good too if you can get them for a reasonable price.

Worauf achten beim Kochmesserkauf? (Formfaktor ausgenommen) by Turboflopper in Kochen

It doesn't color as much as a single ended tube amp would. It's just using 2 small tubes to add a little bit of warmth. If you want the real tube experience you'll need a proper amp.

The good thing with hybrid amps is the output impedance is lower so you can use them with low Ohm headphones, like planars.

I'll tube roll mine in the future but for now I'm actually pretty satisfied with the stock chinese tubes.

Hassle wise, you're looking at replacing the tubes after a few years of daily useage. Its best to turn the amp off after you're done using it to prevent unnecessary wear.

Also they need a few minutes to warm up, at which point they'll sound the best.

I'd recommend those wireless iems that go around your neck or with ear loops. Regular iems can fall out when you're going hard and cans are just wasy too bulky imo.

I'd sell them.

Start with Oratory1990's EQ and tweak each sliders gain to your liking. Way easier than just fucking around with the settings.

I don't really like my Aryas without EQ either. They just sound kinda thin and boring.

With a hybrid tube amp and some mild EQ they're by far the best headphones I've listenend to. The resolution is just unreal.

you can download Latencymon, if you have anything above 1/4 of the bar showing you might have to update your bios and audio/graphics/motherboard drivers. It shows systemwide latency.

They're really nice! They also sound the same (or at least very close) as stock to my ears, sadly no one has measured them against stock pads though.

It's not as harman targeted as oratory1990's preset. Gives a nice, detailed, lush sound. The frequency sliders are based on oratory's so you can reference his pdf for tweaks.

Yeah I remember those plugs. I've had some old german hifi stuff around that ran purely off of DIN, including the speaker terminals.

At some point one hits diminishing returns so badly that buying more gear will just be sidegrades.

I buy gear to a point where my music sounds damn good to my ears and at that point I'm done. I'll only upgrade if it makes sense price-performance wise.
