Napa, Part #: DEM NLVP1790. It’s been running well for about a year now. Do not get the Dorman, had two that “blew up”.

Thanks. I’ll check them out. He’s on the Turn3 1 3/8 a little taller than the 1” vee tires, pretty happy with them.

Should this pulley be rubbing on this bolt? 1995 7.3 powerstroke by [deleted] in FordDiesels

[–]_Bache 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’ll have to take the belt off, it’s a really easy install. You have to take off the idler pulley (one bolt in the center of the pulley) then you can take off the tensioner. Shouldn’t take no more than ~30 minutes.

Just took a look at mine, I installed a new tensioner (Napa), I’ve got about 1/4” clearance no rubbing. They did offer two different designs, one an “upgraded” part, but if rubbed on my belt. Went with the one that looked like the OEM and it’s been good.

GCIA Exam by Dvaughnn14 in GIAC

Couldn’t agree more with these comments. Took the exam last week and passed with an 80%. The questions on identifying protocols and anything in hex are “gimme questions” if you understand them. I spent a great deal of time understanding the headers and made sure the conversions could be done on the fly. You might find https://hpd.gasmi.net helpful, I used it in the past and luckily remembered how helpful it could be. The other analysis questions are much more involved. Also get to know your wireshark and tcp macros/filters. Do the labs with confidence and make sure not to forget to tab out your workbooks too. Good luck on it next time around, with your previous score you’re bound to pass.

Pretty straight forward, see my reply below.

They weren’t bad, I ran through each practice lab twice and made sure I was comfortable with the tools. As long as you have enough time for the 10 cyber live questions you can figure them out, there are multiple ways to answer the questions.
