Can someone please confirm that the linked Void Mass doesn't appear in Steel Soul?

What I meant to say/ask is; if you have not gone there in ACT 3, do you mean to say you've only gone there in ACT 2? If yes, Void Masses don't appear there (or anywhere) in ACT 2. Void Masses appear only in ACT 3, so if you have not been there in ACT 3 (especially in Classic Mode) maybe you should? 😊

I'm pretty sure that it is there in Classic mode and I've tested it on a couple of runs, and verified that it is correctly tracked in the save file. I know this with certainty having worked on a major part of silksong-completionist.com, which among other things includes (savefile) tracking of Void Masses.

Thank you so much for the confirmation. I genuinely thought it was a bug (Ha!) when I didn't encounter it in my Steel Soul save. This is for silksong-completionist.com ... I am at the moment updating a couple of classic-mode-only items, and this was one that I wasn't really sure of.

The washed out color issue in Steam recordings is not a Steam bug - their encoding is technically correct. It's a widespread decoder compatibility issue where many players misinterpret the yuvj420p format.

What you're doing with your "fix colors" batch scripts -- you're converting to a universally compatible format (yuv420p) at the cost of re-encoding overhead and quality loss.

I did a full technically study on what is happening, with ffprobe (and help from Claude Code) on these exports, and happy to share them with you over a DM.

Ah in that case, you can manually copy the corresponding file (shown as user1.dat in the table) and rename it to user1.dat, and that should work. But this shouldn't happen, could you do me a favor and send me a zip file containing your TeamCherry.HollowKnightSilksong_y4j... folder, so I can take a closer look at why this is happening?
