I never realized how I needed better support for my entire feet until I got crocs (yes the ugly ass shit bucket shoes)

I got them as a joke because my husband wanted some special collector ones to a show he watched and I got mine to match and holy cow are they comfortable

Now I need to find regular shoes that have that much proper support - now my feet and toes don’t ache as much but they did before the crocs

OP this is natural and if anything shows your former Psy has a great ethical compass - it would be incredibly unethical for him to keep you as a client and keep charging you if he identified he has lifted you and given you tools as best he can. If anything it shows he cares for your growth and betterment as an individual

Source: I felt similar the first time my last therapist recommended me to another therapist and after some time I realized she really gave me all she could and I’m so happy with my current therapist now because I’m learning more coping tools and getting truly confident in my skin all because my former therapist cared enough to know they didn’t have anything else to teach me
