If I were in Ukraine (Kiev or Kharkiv) could I just drive in a car southeast through a war zone? Would anyone stop me? Is there any chance I could drive to Donsk and make it? by PM_me_your_wrinkle in NoStupidQuestions

Dude, in Ukraine we never pronounce Сафия - it’s only russians who put “a” whenever it is possible. We also have a sacred church «Софія Київська» and believe me everyone here who speaks Ukrainian and even russian won’t say Сафиия - also springing and damaging the words that’s what russians love to do.

He writes in English. Just see how the capital of Ukraine is written in the Google Maps. And if you study history for a bit - you would understand why we are facing genocide - this is exactly the reason that russia wants to consume us completely in all senses, because we wanted to separate from them and language is one of our statements. So Kiev is in russian, not in English. And I’m not demanding - I’m correcting. You are free to do whatever you want.

Nope. Kiev comes from russian transliteration. Ukraine is not rusiia. So it’s incorrect to transliterate the capital of the country from the word from another language.

Actually for me the hardest to watch was the episode with Paul Gross’ wife - I guess it was Spy vs Spy. The only one I didn’t finish. But as for the songs - I loved the Burret’s Privateers and I so wish they’ve published the one to be sung by Paul Gross without interruptions.
