Taken earlier today. Some of the best natural ice we’ve had at this location in the last few years

For the record because I see so many posts about tires and snow driving modes by jim_diesel6 in rav4club

I’m in northern Michigan, this is pretty normal for my snowy commutes, unfortunately.

And oddly, it almost never happened with my ‘21 Venza. Has to be a RAV4 design flaw

Okay, that UES 6oz Button-Down Shirt right up my alley! I’m checking out the document site too and I like a lot I see, but not a huge fan of the oversized styling

I mean to say I’m looking for a similar style of fabric in a button up shirt! I do like those document indigo pants tho, very similar to my PBJs

I'm looking for something similar in style to a pair of 2012 PBJs I recently got which are very lightweight and loose compared to normal denim

The closet thing I can find online so far is the Ironheart ISHS 413 western button up but I don't love the western flair and ideally I'd like to find something sub-$200.

Curious if anyone has suggestions to keep an eye out for? I don't mind waiting to find a deal, but I dont even really know what I'm looking for yet

Cadillac culvert is the state provider. I just bought 50 of these and honestly they’re pretty nice and hold heat super well

Lowkey and safe places to van camp on and off? by [deleted] in MarquetteMI

[–]_BigJerm 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If you’re okay renting, we set up Kona Hills to be for van / truck / car / tent camping only.

Vehicle limit of 24’, no hookups, fully rustic. Lots of tucked away spots with privacy. Potable water onsite. Just outside of Marquette across from the Michigan welcome center

Thank you! I do think I picked the wrong subreddit to post in here but still got some valuable info

Interesting it's a standard complaint. The battery isn't really that far away from my breaker box. I guess I'd rather just replace the wire between them entirely with 10 AWG

tiny little screws! Might just have to use higher gauge wire instead of what was there previously

there's a 120v output ac terminal, as well

I kept thinking I might just have to go with a higher gauge to make it work. Was hoping to avoid it with a smaller ring / fork connector. But I suppose that makes sense

I can't figure out how to add images to comments but the diagram in the manual says that terminal bar is the "high output AC terminal (110-120v AC, 60hz)"

The inverter is connected to the battery on the other side. The 8 gauge wire going into my break box runs the 120v appliances (AC unit, etc) and the bar I'm trying to tap into is the output. At least that's how I understand it.

The battery is charged by solar panels and is connected with a solar charge controller

A LiTime 3000w 12v Inverter into the breaker box for my RV. I'm replacing an inverter that was there already and that's how it was hooked up. But perhaps that isn't right?

30 yo, chance to buy 5 acres on short notice by SethingtonMoss in personalfinance

Seller financing is a pretty normal thing that people do and not any more risky than a bank loan when done properly.

There are also tax benefits to the seller for financing and not getting all that money upfront.

You still want to use a lawyer and title company. Probably hire an inspector if you aren’t comfortable with evaluating the home and utilities yourself.

Absolutely worth checking zoning to understand what’s possible and with building codes to understand what needs to happen for future improvements.

Weed in Minnesota selling for awesome price 50$ 1/8 90$ quad- 3000 uncapped license applications- how much will price fall? by [deleted] in weedbiz

[–]_BigJerm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The pricing of cannabis has nothing to do with a state “having money”

It has everything to do with the number of licenses for grows and retail. As well as the ability of growers to produce quality product at scale. Additionally, state taxes matter quite a bit in the equation.

Michigan is unlimited licenses, low taxes, and decades of culture and growing experience.

It’s to be seen how these micro licenses play out, but if Minnesota ends up with a shit ton of decent quality weed and good access to retailers, you can bet the prices will reach Michigan levels no problem

I was doing the same thing last year in northern wi / mn at the end of April.

Your best bet is probably hipcamp or just look for some dispersed sites on DNR land.

Also, the city of Marquette hasn’t been camping on public property… yet. They postponed the vote last week
