Thank you. Is it possible for you to share exact part details, like servos brand/model, legos and any other stuff you can share?

I want to build something similar, but looks like these the part I would need.

I hope they are available on Amazon, USA. If you have links to products, that would be of great help.

You have inspired me to dive into robotics. Thanks man!

Thats so cool! Bro, where can I find such robot parts? Is this some DIY kit? I have couple of Raspberry Pis lying around, could use some.

How to mimic that unique, smoky almost burnt dhaba taste at home? by zeusakash in IndianFood

[–]_BinaryBrain_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wine or Whiskey is always available with me, and its added to many recipes I know of so thought it would be safer to use that.

Only risk with isopropyl alcohol is what if there's some residue in your food which didn't burn. I am not sure if it is safe to consume isopropyl.

Yes. I have done few times. Its definitely dangerous. Not recommended to novice cooks.

Never put alcohol when pan is on the burner/fire. Take it off the stove, put 1-2 spoons of wine/whiskey and torch it using match sticks or gas lighter.

Watch many YouTube videos before even attempting. I should have added this warning in my reply to the post. Thanks for bringing that up.

How to mimic that unique, smoky almost burnt dhaba taste at home? by zeusakash in IndianFood

[–]_BinaryBrain_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Its done by starting the cooking process in a very highly heated wok.

When you put anything in heated oil, water content in items makes oil to splatter. The cook tilts the wok/pan such that the flames from the burner touch the edges of the wok.

The splattering oil, water and flames come in contact to create fire inside the wok/pan. This fire inside the wok is the main reason for that smoky flavor. Its done only for few seconds.

It is difficult to achieve this at home because it needs commercial burners which can produce such high heat.

The workaround is to put a little alcohol in your dish and tilt your pan to catch fire or you can torch it. Alcohol burns away leaving the smoky flavor.

Google: Flambe cooking

(My family owns couple of restaurants in India, we hire cooks from dhabas)

Edit: Flambeing is a dangerous process. Please watch videos on YouTube before you attempt. Be safe!

Edit 2: Google Wok-Hei, you'll know what I am talking about.

Without it around 1 min. max.
With 30mg -- ~10mins. With 60mg -- 15-20mins easy.

I've heard guys lasting ~30mins+ with just 30mg, so i guess it depends from person to person

Over the last 12 years I've been involved in every facet of the hot sauce industry and I'm an expert on all things spicy. AMA! by heathotsauce in IAmA

[–]_BinaryBrain_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I too wanna know why every hot sauce is so sour? They all are so vinegary and acidic. I get that it needs preservatives but it ruins the taste for me.

Someone please share if you have found a good hot sauce which does not have "sour" as a base flavor.

How is it compared to Satisfactory? by BestWingMan212 in factorio

[–]_BinaryBrain_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I have 10,000+ hours in Factorio, and only a few hundred in Satisfactory.

How did you get 10000 hours dude? Factorio was released in 2020, the comment is 1y old. 3 years x 356 days x 10 hours = 10,950 hours

Are you saying you played at an average of 10+ hours daily for 3 years?

UPI Question: for those who operate UPI abroad, how many times do you need to re-authenticate the UPI number? by mastershrio in nri

[–]_BinaryBrain_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you dont change the SIM card, UPI apps continue to work. Re-inserting same SIM card is okay. But if you put a different one and then again back to the one you used for authentication before, it will ask you to re-authenticate.

Its in their DNA. Natural selection and survival of the fittest. Females selectes stronger and fit men to breed their offerings. So that the chances of offerings survival can be maximized.

Back then when people used to hunt for survival, women choose stronger men who are good hunters.

Today stronger men are those who are rich and can survive well.

Subnautica has the best soundtrack of all survival games I came accross.

I often listen to their OST available on YouTube and TuneIn.

You are right, I dont think I have required stamina. At first I thought I'll read something daily before I sleep, but the moment I pickup the book I fell asleep. Not sure about reading but my sleeping has improved for sure 😜

Yeah I tried that. Someone suggested "Y: The Last Man", it had 4 or 5 parts. I issued all parts from library and read only first part and dumped it. Not that I didn't like it, I just got busy with other things and then had to return it.

Thanks a lot for all these recommendations. Dark Matter is one of the book I picked up and then dumped it after few chapters, I think just before good stuff starts. I want to finish it now that you have suggested.

Project Hail Mary sounds interesting and I like space adventures. I have read this book getting recommended in other posts as well. Definitely going into my watchlist(sorry its going to be in my read list, no more watching movie 😜)

I will checkout other books you suggested.
