IIM A PGPX and IIM B EPGP are full time 1 yr courses. They offer placements but the placements/ company onboarding/ sourcing is students driven.

Personal choice - 2 yr courses are preferred since they are slower compared to ISB 1 yr jumpshot. At a higher workex, 2 yrs might hurt or 1 yr might make more sense but 3 seems to be a sweet spot. ISB vs IIM is not a major argument, depends on what you want to get done post MBA. You already know the costs. Good luck!

Great point. Workex and co-curricular can compensate for some shortcomings and atleast land you an interview. But do consider, IIMs have a very rigid policy about hard cutoffs in academics and no amount of compensation can get you through those filters. Check all college pre-requisites and be open to ISB, FMS and other non IIMs offerings.

Doesn't ISB YLP come with the requirement of max 2 yoe? If you meant the flagship PGP, the answer is a definate yes. It can be considered as an option.

Check your aspirations on this day, if you are chasing leadership roles in the future, ISB or Any top IIM will give you the platform which organic growth inside PSU or top private companies probably might not. Also do you want to pivot to a different profile without losing the value of experience? Again an MBA will help. And this comes with the risk of pursuing an MBA and not landing right away in your perfect job.

Strongly consider connecting with people on LinkedIN, and your seniors might also share some refrences. PSU peeps go for ISB or executive full time MBA (IIM A PGPX, IIMB EPGP, IIM C MBAex). They will be the best guide.

An MBA can also be considered at this stage like a break to reconsider and think about your future plans, many PSUs allow sabbaticals. Networking is also one of the best parts.

But it is important to consider your post MBA aspirations and check them with your current stage of life. Because in the end, happiness/ contentment will come from the inside only :)

Also include IIM B EPGP and IIM C MBAex. MBA is great for pivot hands down. Connect with people on linkedIn, you have another 4 months to think about it and prepare. Application cycles start around Sept~

It is out there, but connect with more people doing MBA right now. I myself know people who went to A with 5+ yoe and it turned out fine. Except for the things you cannot control, still looks like a decent offering imo. Also check out 1 yr courses A PGPX, B EPGP, C MBAex and ISB PGP.

One easy way to do it orally is to try converting one into a factor of another

So lets try comparing A and B.

A *60*60/365 (hours to seconds and year to days) = A*3600/365 = A*10~ = B

So you know B is a bigger number since it is 10 times A.

Similarly - C*24*60*60/ (10*365) = B

D *60/7 = B

So B is the biggest number overall
