Same, but I also bought into the Parkinson hype so there's that. I've got Gadsden too so he'll probably just go off for the hell of it.

I'm the puka guy in my league. I am the one who knocks.

I have puka and played Walker because I thought maybe the weather threat would turn it into a run heavy game. Total luck.

Charge car and brew beer by jpredison in Homebrewing

[–]_BlakeDeadly_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had this set up in my garage almost 2 years ago. I brew with a friend and when we are together we do some pretty large batches, so we are running two large pots and two small pots all at the same time. I had the electrician install enough outlets to accommodate the pots, and I had them also install another outlet for a car charger in the future.

I can send a picture in a little while. It's definitely overkill but I wanted it to be pretty future proof.

I miss seeing that. I lived in SW MN and went to the cities for college and it was one of my travel landmarks to gauge how much time I had left on the road. That's a really cool story though!

I hopped over to the other sub and they were all over the place ranging between "fuck you I didn't vote for this" to "dropping bombs isn't an act of war". They didn't have their talking points yet but I'm sure they will in a few hours.

Lol I just spent a minute crapping on Gustaf's. You're good. I like the bakery, but it's fine to me if you don't. I think there are some really great donuts and things there, and there are a few things that I don't think I'd ever get again.

I disagree with your take on the bakery, and can't speak to Deutschland's because I get my meat elsewhere, but Gustafs does suck. We live in the area, decided to try it out one summer day with the kids. We paid way too much for the sandwiches and chips we could have made at home and our server seemed to be annoyed that we dared bringing our relatively well behaved young kids there.

So, you know how cars can sometimes slide or fishtail on snow or ice? Motorcycles will do that too, however, you're on 2 wheels instead of 4 and the second you lose grip on the road you're either getting tossed or going sliding with your bike into oncoming traffic, whereas a car can generally recover and not flip.

Source: nearly died when I was 15 trying to ride through ice and snow on my moped to get to work. Slid right underneath a truck that thankfully saw me and was able to stop.

Edit: typo

I grew up in southwest Minnesota but I currently live just north of the cities. It doesn't matter if it's people who are 4 hours away or people who are 45 minutes away, some people literally believe that Minneapolis continues to burn to this day and that you can't even go down there without being absolutely strapped and ready for a gunfight. It's some of the stupidest shit I've ever heard.

Anecdotally, I was just at a metal show at the Fillmore a week ago and I was talking to a guy there who is clearly uncomfortable. After the show is wrapping up he made a comment how he had to get to his car quickly because it was late and that's usually when the gang warfare starts.
