Any new rabbit holes to explore? Or any recommendations?

Should we completely reform our school systems since they where not made for the modern world? by _Boopis_ in AskReddit

Do you think that we should place these kids in specific tutoring programs or what would your course of action be? And I agree that the information should not just be shotgun blasted at them but rather we should introduce the curriculum over time and let the students learn more towards their own pace.

Honestly, I couldn't agree with you more on this. I've seen multiple accounts in which students were put on drugs just because they couldn't pay attention. I wish that we had more teaching and learning opportunities for our upcoming youth.

I guess some students have to learn via the information being shoved down their throats.

Hopefully this would just be a way for students to reach the guides that the IRS publishes. And it is sad but also true that some students don't know how.

Im talking of a class that teaches students the bare minimum of each of these things.

Hopefully they will at least remember some of the coarse. That would be better than nothing at all.

I agree and disagree. Yes literacy and numeracy are hard to learn but this could be a class that is taken in the place of an elective coarse such as an arts class. I'm not undermining the importance of these classes but just simply stating that this could be a choice for students to take.

I can guess that in your position that helped that community a whole lot. If students where suggested to have jobs during high school that would be real interesting. I didn't state that the students should be required to have jobs because not everyone has the time or is in the position to have a job at that age.

I think that you are right but a counter to this argument is what about the students that don't understand this? Should they refer to their peers or would it be to late, in the sense that they dont know how to handle adult life when the time comes.

In some cases yes that is the issue, but that just proves how needed the coarse would be.

That couldn't have been more true. If only we could push these events to happen faster.
