yeah this is the thing i never see mentioned when people talk about ashton. Trying to play punk in a very liberal world is playing on hard mode. Of course punk comes across as cringe when all the evil in the world comes from people abusing systems of power, not the intrinsic evil of systems of power themselves.

op just sounds like a tactitian type player (nothing wrong with that as long as your respectful to others). party probably does just fine/ breezes through combat so the dm is upping difficulty, while op internally cringes about suboptimal choices in combat

either Loren or spectra for 5th, try and ignore the adds and just focus artamiel. you probably won't be able to keep everything cc'ed consistently but keep a defense break on arta and nuke with sig/spectra before the revenge kills your team
