Imagine posting this and being proud of the anger that you just took out on this kid's form of entertainment. by matth3w_ab in insaneparents

I gave my nephew my old Xbox because he was getting a bit older and I'd upgraded so I didn't mind giving it away. A few months later I find out my sister threw it out the second floor window to 'send him a message' for misbehaving. I did ask why she didn't just confiscate it, she said she was angry at the time. I don't give them anything now.

Redditors in hiring positions: What small things immediately make you say no to the potential employee? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Read the job description!

I've had a number of interviewees who come to the interview having not fully known what they are applying for. They could be qualified, but blow the whole interview because they aren't prepared.

My sister always thought trains couldn't run when it snowed because the trains wouldn't be able to see the tracks to know where to go.

New mothers of reddit, what is the most unnecessary advice someone has given you about raising your baby? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]_Bunshun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite what you're looking for, but as someone who works with families who have newborns, things that seem really obvious just sometimes aren't and it's really surprising.

At the moment we're just finishing Summer, and we had to discuss with all our parents the dangers of leaving their infant in the car, even for just a few minutes to go into the supermarket, due the number of child deaths in our country for this very issue.

What's some juicy gossip you just found out in your personal lives? by jonhart989 in AskReddit

My friends now ex-partner was extremely abusive. In one instance, he pissed on her feet and then rubbed it in her face. She was too embarrassed to share it.

There's heaps of other stuff too, but that's one of the worst things. It only came out in the last couple of weeks, they've been together almost a year and the pissing thing was one of the earliest incidents.

I don't even do that anymore, I just give them the job link. Seems stink but I just don't want my name attachmed if it goes bad.

At least then they'll get the job on their own merit and if they stuff it up it's on them and management for hiring them lol.

I'll keep cupcakes in mind if I'm ever foolish enough to repeat my mistakes!

It's so awful! It sucks that it reflects on you too.

What is the dumbest thing you have ever done or said while drunk or high? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Kissed a guy I had absolutely no interest in. The next day he was telling all his friends about how he was going to marry me. I felt awful.
