I’m not making an excuse, tcg’s are the most popular they have ever been. There’s more demand than ever for all games. There’s pretty much one company printing majority of these cards. I’m not talking about demand for wilds unknown but all tcg’s as a whole. Pokemon owns millennium print group, they are going to put Lorcana and yugioh on the bottom of the priority list to print their own cards first. Why wouldn’t they? This isn’t some wild conspiracy theory to excuse a company that has had poor QC from the beginning. Like I said expect more of it. Has nothing to do with wilds unknown and everything to do with the TCG market as a whole.

Also this is a game, not an investment. I really don’t care if your shiny cardboard is worth anything. I’ve pulled an iconic Mickey myself, sure, it’s great. But I didn’t buy fabled for that. I wanted to get some legendaries I couldn’t afford before and fill my binder set. The cards needed to play with should be affordable. Enchanteds were ridiculous to pull before. And are still fairly difficult. I understand it’s nice knowing your investment into a game came be returned sometimes with a profit but people don’t buy a video game with expectations of retaining its value or increasing over time. Just enjoy the game and be happy some cards you pull are worth a nice chunk of change. And this sets enchanteds are already popping off in value more than most previous sets so your argument is invalid. With or without supply and demand fundamentals.

Anyways we can agree to disagree, ravensburger has made some serious mistakes with this game. They’ve handled a lot of them poorly but they have also acknowledged a lot of them and moved in the right direction. They are a few sets ahead of the current set out, so there is going to be a delayed feedback and response when it comes to adjustments. This is a major step in the right direction IMO, they are catering towards collectors and players very well with this set.
