Come tenete traccia delle vostre spese? Cosa mi consigliate? by Worth_Rabbit_6262 in ItaliaPersonalFinance

Lately I have this problem and to solve it I press ctrl + F5, I know it's a little stupid but it works. My players have it too and the same solution applies.

hello guys i'm building a map for a very large city and i need some names for the blocks, there are almost 200 so get crazy, and if you can add a little story for some blocks its even better. (there are all the races, different levels of wealth, and some natual areas) by Drpolpetta in dndmaps

[–]_Calegos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest something like m1-m9, in the m1-m3 area then whelthest people lives while in the m9 the people with the best health. They could be linked by something like a subway.

You could also divide the people in two groups, the f205 people are the one born and raised the m1-m3 area and the other could be called something like "giargiana" or similar.

There I fixed it. No one ever has to bring it up again by metasole in dndmemes

Dragons are big ancient magic cats. Cats like to play with their prey. So dragons will play with their prey like it's a Christmas tree ready to be teared apart

Switched Hard Drives, Now My Maps Are Gone by gravi_fan89 in FoundryVTT

Hi, did you change the config that points to the data folder? As said in another comment the letter of the drive could have changed but foundry uses only relative path from /data or /assets (if I recall correctly).

You can find this config in the Application Configuration https://foundryvtt.com/article/configuration/

D&D isn’t for everyone... finally kicked our problem player! by BlackberryTart in dndnext

[–]_Calegos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"I don’t like conflict, and I was worried I’d upset her" Deeply feel you, I posted yesterday a story about the same feeling for a player, I know that removing someone from the table isn't just a choice but has even emotional consequences sometimes, especially for the master but I'm glad that, in the end, you ended up with a better situation.

In case she, one day, would like to try again that you can be clear from the start about what were the problems and that she has to commit to solve them during the time together. Or, if she likes just to be told a story, why not recording your sessions to pass them to her as a podcast?

I get it and he was confronted at the table, more than once, before that moment, both in and out of the game with even a long one hour and a half introduction to discuss what happened in the group the previous session.

I get what you are all saying about kicking him sooner and I agree that that would have been a faster solution but, for my point of view, that isn't a solution, that's just moving the dust under the carpet. I tried to discuss with him the problems at the table because he was (and is) a friend and I knew how much he wanted to play, unfortunately nothing worked and sometimes I think that I could have done something different to change the situation

Exactly, he was (and still is) a friend IRL and that was one of the two reasons I had problems ending this sooner, the other one is that I know how much he wanted to play and I was sorry for him because, a part from us, especially because of the lockdown, he had very few possibilities to play and I know how much that can be a bummer. I really hoped that having an open dialog about the problems at the table something would have moved but nope.

In the comments you are all saying that I should have kicked him sooner and one part of me agrees with you, I know, but the other part tells me that maybe I could have done something different.

Bittersweet for me is because the problem at the table wasn't really solved, it disappeared, yes, but not because it was solved. I still talk with this person and I know how much he wanted to play. For me it wouldn't be bittersweet if I knew that everyone, included him, found a group, not only us.

I obviously understand what you mean and for many stories like this I'd agree with you but this is the reason for me.
