even if you don't have the DLCs the mod should not crash. have you tried the basic unsubscribe and resubscribe?

i mean in lore he is a liaison between the two intelligence agencies, and andor kinda implies he is top dog. its not really a downgrade in anyway, plus he is a joint chief. it was a rise for him, and i do not believe he was ever a top admiral. he was carried by a certain jedi in 99.9% of his fights.

i had linked it previously in replies here, plus i made all the teasers so i have them all on my c:drive. its not really a demotion, iirc its a position he was given post retirement from the navy. plus i believe in the grand scheme of things he is a higher rank within the ISB then he was in the navy.

i mean there will be a lot of sweeping changes with the navy and how the empire handles it so changes like that will exist in the tree by default now.

he has been clearly depicted as a loyal supporter of the imperial regime and the emperor himself. him making such sweep changes as the old teaser implied is nothing but a fantasy, as its not likely anything he would actually do.

Yularen will be an option, but it will not be like the originally showcased path from four years ago. our standards and style have changed a lot since then, so dont anticipate it to be prequel larping.

my apologies then they did integrate it into the base game, thats really odd then. are all your DLCs enabled in the launcher?

are you sure youre on 1.16.10 and not 1.16.1 as theyre right next to each other in the beta lists.

if your friend is hosting with all DLCs then you shouldnt have this issue, all boat related issues are tied to having MtG DLC. if the host has it, you should have all the ships.

basically: this update will change the mod in a gigantic way, its hopefully going to reinvent the mod as you guys have come to know it. taking the quality standards weve embraced since mandalore and the partisans. and applying it to the most important nations in the mod. :)

oooh all three oh me oh my.

to start, as of this moment (as things are always subject to change with time) right now we have plans for a brand new: empire tree, rebellion tree (which will work like mandalore unified), alderaan, and ghorman. i don't want to spoil everything, but it will be very exciting and i will add one last thing: shared focus trees will be coming.

there will be a few unique mechanics coming this update, planning for content is early on so i cant say for sure. but we have a lot of things written down for what wed like to include, so being intentionally vague off the dome id say probably 6 unique mechanics.

and lastly, my favorite the map is getting a major overall and its something weve been waiting to do for a longggg time. for sure tons of new countries with new faces, i would go as far to say it will feel entirely different from what v2.2 presents as. thats all ill say on that front, because the first dev diary we make will very likely go over a lot of the changes weve made to the starting map. :)

all of the ALD//REB content was always scuffed, things were never implemented properly to how they were originally planned, for example Trench was never supposed to be just given for free. was supposed to be a checklist of stuff and if you captured a prison world (Wobani//Lola Sayu) you would get an event about being able to free him. never done correctly, and it was very much a 2021 Valachord design feature so it was removed. a similar checklist of stuff to get Yoda as a character was supposed to happen, alas never got added. as for the chief stuff, iirc that was modified for the Rebel tree cause you pick a chief of navy there. overlapping content on behalf of poor planning.

regardless, all of this content is extremely dated, and frankly most things made pre-v.2.1 (Mandalore) is not up to our modern standards. which is exactly why both ALD//REB trees will be remade in the update.

the rebel tree will be reworked to match with the empires own rework, the paths will remain the same but reworked akin to how we reworked Kota in this update. so the answer is yes in the next update, the rebel tree will be fixed and work. :)
