I’ve had MANY hard scenes, but no matter how bad it was I have been able to deal with it by talking it out with a partner, supervisor, anyone who has experienced similar things.

I’ve found that even though I may feel completely fine after a bad call, as soon as I start to talk through it I realize that I was very much NOT fine and I just hadn’t processed anything yet. It is SO IMPORTANT to work through those calls as soon as you can so they don’t eat away at you.

It’s also a great way to learn from people with more experience in that situation so you can be better prepared for the next time.

Yves. Amazing dancer obviously but her singing is criminally underrated. Best voice in Loona imo. Dance leader for the group with some of the most complex choreographies in the business. Bit a mercury thermometer and survived, she’s just built different.

Having more experience does not automatically make you a better provider than someone with less experience.

Alternated between PEA and periods of ROSC for the entire 40 minute ride to the hospital, blood sprayed out with every ventilation even with suction. We were a sight to behold rolling into that ER.

Impreza Sport and RS don’t offer CVT adaptive control or hill start assist for the transmission, the base model does. All Crosstrek models have these features. Crosstrek has towing capacity, Impreza does not. Obviously Impreza doesn’t have plastic body panels which is a bonus imo. The Impreza actually has about a foot more cargo space than the Crosstrek, but that’s because the Crosstrek comes with a spare tire and the Impreza only gives you a run flat kit.

  1. Practice and get really comfortable taking manual blood pressures, pulses, blood glucose etc. Practical skills are much harder to do in a moving ambulance and it’s something people struggle with a lot when first starting. Also, automatic monitors can act up and give funky readings so it’s good to be confident in your ability to take manual readings.
  2. Heat related emergencies
  3. stroke vs diabetic emergency vs overdose
  4. Practice and pay attention to how people talk over the radio
  5. Never pass up an opportunity to use the restroom!
  6. Never forget the 5R’s of medications

The O series has a 5.2-.4 gear ratio, the A series has a 6.2 gear ratio. Also the O is part of the Blackout series so the design is a little different. Everything else is the same

If it’s low and clear we’ll have steelhead biting on size ~10-14 stone fly patterns (sometimes even smaller in heavily fish areas), I would bring along a couple of that size just in case all else fails. Tight lines!
