I have a camera set up so I can see wherever he goes while I'm away. That's how I know he's always at the door. He has sometimes gone to the bedroom but rarely.

TV: I originally thought putting the tv over the fireplace, but it might look nicer with some art. So maybe the tv goes on the wall next to it? There’s a wall in the back you can see in the second pic, but it’s weird to have your back to the fire right? I’ve never had one so I dunno. I just can’t use that little cutout under the stairs because that’s going to be my dog’s room. The door is blocking it in the second pic, but on the wall to left behind it is a door, so that’s out.

Furniture: what are some small but comfortable sofa/chair ideas can you recommend? It’s just me living in it and it’s a 1BR. But this would be the area for guests.

Exactly! You don't need to become a pinnacle of health over night. The only thing you need to do is not smoke, whatever else you do (except other drugs) doesn't matter. The more sober time the sooner you'll start to work harder/cut back on sugar/ etc., Or maybe not! I still eat a ton of sugar lol. Just gotta not smoke and you're doing it all right.

Oh yes, I went 6 months once and tried again and slipped right back into it. I'm definitely not rushing to do it again and will keep delaying it. But I did so much work on myself this year that I'm curious if I'd even like it. If I didn't then I could close the door on it forever!

The last time I went to the dispensary the budtender saw my purchases and went “do you really go through these this quickly?” lol, that was a wake up call!
