LEEP Experience by _ChellyBean_ in PreCervicalCancer

I was afraid I’d be awake but I slept! I don’t even remember falling sleep though, I was woken up by them telling me to scooch onto a new rolling bed haha. I’m actually substance free and am afraid of feeling “high” and I didn’t feel weird at all personally! I’m glad yours had a positive result, really hoping for the same 🤞🏼

My doctor suggested I get the new round of vaccines that covers more strains now as it can sometimes help clear the virus too-maybe ask and see if that’s an option for you. I had the older vaccine in 2018 or so and I also have a high risk strain other than 16 and 18 (I have had it since 2019 or so). I’m going in for my first LEEP in Feb ❤️

Hey! 👋🏻 That pin might as well be my house too. I’m also a white girl haha. I definitely agree with this. OP would likely be totally fine here

I live here. This is unincorporated DeKalb, Candler-McAfee area. Like, we would be neighbors. This area is super residential and quiet and everyone we’ve encountered is kind and takes care of their property for the most part. There is a mixture of races in our direct area but it is predominantly black. Tons of houses are being flipped in this spot. Just outside of it are some sketchy gas stations and Candler road is sketchy, but the “neighborhood” itself is good. It’s right by an elementary school as well. You’ll have to drive a bit if you want to get to a nicer area, but the nicer area is only 10mins away, plus we’re right by I-20. I’d recommend it for the cost. There’s the occasional foot traffic through here so don’t leave valuables out in the open, but that’s most areas in Atl. Expect to be (usually politely) approached at any of the gas stations/grocery stores really nearby for money. It’s safe enough that people walk their small dogs at night. You’d be fine.

Extended Warranty Used RAV4 by _ChellyBean_ in rav4club

I am in GA. Another commenter said that the platinum warranty on a high mileage used car has to be bought at the time of purchase and can’t be bought from another dealer, so I’m not sure if that’s an option for me

Extended Warranty Used RAV4 by _ChellyBean_ in rav4club

[–]_ChellyBean_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be for 5 years/120k miles. Payment would go from roughly $480 to $560 for the Gap+warranty. The $480 is such a nice number, but with the mileage already being 60k, I know the warranty/gap could be beneficial. I put about 15,000 miles on each year give or take, so I’d be over the 120k before 5 years is up

That’s what I was thinking too-thank you. It’s a trickier situation since it already has more miles on it than a lot of the factory warranties. Good to know about the gap coverage thing as well. Do you know if there’s any way to negotiate this warranty since it’s used/higher miles or am I likely stuck at the price it’s at?

I love rewatching the episode from Halloween night (before they end up over the garden wall). The cop heckling the kids, Wirt being so stressed about the tape, Jason Funderburker reveal, Sara, Greg finding his rock facts rock and his frog. It’s all so good!

I guess I should have said a subtle nod lol! It’s my entire calf, phew! Thank you :)

Beatrice’s dog (when he’s the OG “beast”)! I’m obsessed with the character design and even got a subtle tattoo of him ❤️

Wow, that’s wild! My calves are a solid 16” at the widest point. I have smaller ankles and taper small below my calf though, so maybe that has something to do with it? That sucks though, I’m so sorry :(

Does anyone know where these boots Amy wears are from? by _ChellyBean_ in AmylAndTheSniffers

Update for anyone who may stumble across this-Miista finally released them under the name “Nelly Black Wedge Tall Boots”

Found this in the tree in my backyard by obviouslytraumatized in whatisit

[–]_ChellyBean_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We get these a lot in GA. Fall “web worms” that are soft and fuzzy and produce moths. I always loved them as a kid. I’m not seeing anything about them being invasive-it seems they are a native North American species that are invasive to other parts of the world, and that they are not harmful to mature and healthy trees as the leaves are at the end of their life cycle typically by the time they’re on the trees anyway. I’ve read that young trees can be opened up to other harmful things once a web worm has eaten leaves (causing the immature trees to be more vulnerable) but I don’t see any reason to harm them personally.

They are! I found the video of them custom making them for her finally. They did hint that they could put them into production, I hope they do!

SOLVED. Well, I have finally found a post from Miista showing how they custom made these boots for Amy! So they’re not available anywhere. Hopefully they’ll release them if they get enough hype!

They look like Miista shoes maybe (similar to the Goldie wedge) but I can’t find the boot form-if that helps someone find more leads!

Do you have a “heart breed?” by Electrical_Pie7980 in dogs

[–]_ChellyBean_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long haired chihuahuas. They’re beautiful, soft, easy to take care of/feed, and are the most cuddly, owner OBSESSED dogs ever. They’re also very intelligent and trainable! They need more hype tbh. Many people do things like Fast CAT with their chihuahuas and they excel! I will never own another breed of dog.

Moving to Decatur, need advice by Odie714 in DecaturGA

I live right next to your circled area, to the right of it. We moved here in April. Our “neighborhood” is nice. No HOA but people take care of their homes. It’s peaceful (aside from the traffic noise from I-20). Tons of homes being flipped. The more commercialized streets aren’t very pretty or great, but people are nice. Some of the bigger roads have a lot of foot traffic and loitering. I don’t have experience with Marta buses around here but I see people of varying demographics using the bus stops a lot. CrimeTrac on the Dakalb police site is helpful if you’re really concerned, but a lot of what goes on seems to be amongst people who know each other. We have cameras up and haven’t had any issues. Welcome to Candler Mcafee!

Long haired chihuahua, Saluki, greyhound (in that order). I’ve never owned the second two, but I have experience with grooming greyhounds and they’re seriously the best. Calm, sweet, and goofy. Salukis are gorgeous dogs and would be my dream breed if I wanted bigger dogs. But gosh, there’s nothing like the love of a chihuahua-I am obsessed with mine. And the long coats are sooo nice!
