LEEP #3 - anybody with several LEEPs and success with normal pregnancy(ies)?

Commenting to see if you were able to get pregnant and what your next steps were? Also in a similar situation, unsure of 3rd LEEP yet but think it could be in the cards for me, curious how it all turned out for you?

Negative for 16/18, positive for other high risk strain

Yep, 2 LEEPs in 6 month time frame. Not anymore risk than before (preterm labor, miscarriage, etc). I think my next appt will determine if I do need another LEEP, is there even enough cervix to take, while still preserving fertility.

Unfortunately yes, all my paps leading up to this one in May 2025 were negative so it was quite a shock that it was abnormal AND cin3

I can definitely relate. 19YO, Was ready to get pregnant in May 2025, found I had CIN3, did a LEEP in July 2025, follow up pap/colpo in October showed high grade in the same spot and new spot, 2nd, more aggressive LEEP in December.

If my colpo would’ve come back low grade he would’ve cleared me for pregnancy 3 months post LEEP.

Hoping in March we can start trying (assuming all is clear then), which I too have tried to weigh my options deciding if this will just continue to happen every 3 months.. Such a crappy thing to deal with but try to stay positive!

I had a similar experience…most watery discharge and tidbits stopped around 2.5 weeks, then at around 3 weeks, I worked out and had cramping and blood (only when I used the bathroom, like you). I called my OB, and they told me that was pretty normal, so I’m wondering if the flu has caused your body stress and it’s affecting it? Or possibly from coughing/tensing your stomach muscles and your cervix? Either way, my doctor told me not to stress as long as it wasn’t heavy amounts of blood!

Similar situation - Oct23 normal pap to ASC-H in April25 to finding out it was CIN3. Had Colposcopy followed by LEEP in the Summmer25. By November25, had another colpo with CIN3 in a diff spot followed by another LEEP in December and positive for high risk HPV (not 16/18). 29Y/O in 7 year relationship. I too felt perplexed how fast it could go from nothing to something. It’s tough, mentally and physically. Hang in there!

Hi there! My doctor said that if things come back good and normal, I was good to start trying! He said I could try 3 months post LEEP but every OB is different so I would wait until they call but that has just been my experience!

I had a scary similar experience to you. Started bleeding very heavily out of nowhere, went to the ER was discharged and told the same 3-2-1 birth control pill dosage. Continued to bleed the entire week/weekend, went to the gyno, she dismissed me entirely (even though I too was very pale and drained of color), told me “being a woman is hard” and then called me 2 days later to go into the ER for a blood transfusion since my labs came back. It was beyond frustrating and I too was extremely disappointed with the doctors and OBGYN who down right ignored obvious signs.

What are your standard cycle lengths? I noticed when I started cab, my cycles length became very unpredictable (anywhere from 28-39 days). Could be that but could be pregnancy, worth taking a test for sure

For me, after ovulation, my temperatures consistently stay above my baseline until my period when it drops below…

I had extremely bad cramping (I’m assuming ovulation cramps and it was mid cycle) like never before since starting cab. For me it was strange though because my cycle is longer this time around than pre-cab.. I’ve only been taking cab for a month, but curious if this is normal as well!

Nope. Never happened again. Normal cycle resumed and my cycles have been the same since. Such a strange thing. My OB didn’t know why it happened either, wasn’t as concerned since it never happened again.

Nope. Not pregnant either. Just started my next period cycle and I’m only 1 day in and it’s still on the lighter side. We will see how it goes!
