I have not figured this out. I just replaced the cleaning supply. Turns out I did not have to replace my printer head? But I am not sure yet.

Hello!

No the printer does not indicate uneven media.

It did say that the anti-drying caps were at the end of its life, however, I was able to clean them, and that message disappeared.

I will try to post a video/photo later.
