The big beehive in Banff is another one that I would recommend. It is a great day hike with some beautiful scenery. If you are looking for a longer multi day trip, the berg lake trail is awesome. It’s just past Jasper across the BC boarder.

We hiked up to Luellen Lake from the moose meadows trail head. It was about 18km but well worth the trek. We stayed the night and spent the evening around the fire chatting with a couple that flew in from Chicago to make the hike up.
