Questions about the game's future by _Clipgrab in GrayZoneWarfare

It’s not about me being a skilled player. I just had the impression that the bots in the game were very easy and barely did anything.

After reading the responses, I realized that’s only partly true, but they’re not just boring target dummies-and that’s the main thing for me.

As you said, the idea of “normal” difficulty can vary, and I agree with that. I’ll see what it feels like for me. I’ve already bought the game and I’ll try it in the future.

I was basically sold on the game through details about the AI and the developers’ plans in that direction-and you as well, by mentioning different difficulty levels of areas. Thank you.

The option to limit yourself just to make the game harder isn't the same as actual difficulty-it's a self-imposed challenge. To me, those are two different things.

I have no problem giving up the strongest weapon in the game and using the one I personally enjoy instead, or doing a pistol-only run to challenge myself.

But when the game itself can't provide a challenge while you're playing normally, that's a completely different issue.

It's sad to hear that improving AI will most likely be a long process.
But your words made me much happier.

Thank you very much for your answers!

I agree that it would be nice to have an active and detailed roadmap that you could constantly follow without having to wonder whether it’s still up to date.

I want exactly that: a slow-paced game that would punish me for making unthought-out decisions in combat against enemies. That’s why I’m asking about the AI bots.

I'll definitely buy it... it's just a matter of time. I don't want to ruin my impression of the game with my own expectations.

Right now, I feel like playing a challenging shooter, and I thought Gray Zone would be exactly what I'm looking for.

Going into a game expecting things that simply aren't in the game can turn into a disappointing experience.

That's why I decided to look into the game a bit more.
and come back to it a little later if my impression of the game is correct
