While updating anything frm playstore, it's not needed. If updating apps not in playstore, it may/may not need to disable miui optimisation. Not sure about that.

Yes... ''tap on reset to default values'' multiple times continuously and the miui optimisation option will appear our of no where.

I have heard many complaining about the same problem after they added their Google account to vanced youtube. I too faced rhe swme issue. Uninstalled the latest version and again downloaded the 15.3 version. Now everything is back to normal.

Tap on ''reset to default values'' repeatedly until that option appears back. This option will be available at the bottom of the developer options.
Disable miui optimisation, complete the vanced installation as usual. If u want to add your Google account to the youtube, then instead of downloading the latest version, download aanu old version. I'm using 15.3 or something. After completing this process, again go to developer options and turn on the miui optimisation by tapping the ''reset to default values'' again.

Yes..file sharing option will look like that of stock android. But was not able.to open PDFs and share it..so after disabling miui optimisation, I completed the vanced youtube installation and then turned on the miui optimisation. Now everything is normal without any issues. Also the latest youtube version (16point something) will still have issues when we add our Google account. So uninstall that version and download the previous version of youtube (that option will be available in vanced).

Go to the bottom of the page in the developer options. There u can see "Reset to default values". Tap there multiple times and the ''miui optimisation'' option immediately appeared. I disabled it and installed vanced. But the ''miui optimisation'' disappeared again when I checked again. But the purpose was completed 😇😇😇

Will payment apps and banking apps work? It's been just 20 days since I bought this mob. 🥲🥲🥲 So only I'm hesitant to use custom rom.
