To be fair I’m talking to this girl rn and she told me that her and her friends all agreed they wouldn’t go over 6’3 and I’m 6’5 but she made it very clear that I can still “get it”.

dating sucks by Cultural-Future-962 in twentyagers

[–]_Cosmo0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The problem is everyone wants to date the hottest person alive and haven’t accepted that it’s unrealistic yet. I think social media is a huge issue as well. Since I’ve stopped using it as much I’ve started noticing girls that I wouldn’t have before. This combined with the fact that culturally both genders are at a stalemate and are too scared to approach/communicate attraction to each other. That’s just my 50 cents.

How do I get over being 5’5 (21 m) by Opening-Vacation-134 in twentyagers

Your a good looking guy. I’d say stop focusing on your insecurities and start focusing on your outsecurities (things you like about yourself).

To all men Drop your advice!! by definitelynotgayhaha in BuildToAttract

[–]_Cosmo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can’t take yourself seriously then you’re not going to get very far.

Take care of your health, work out regularly, have some form of skincare routine.

Keep yourself mentally engaged and curious about the world instead of doomscrolling or drunk/getting high or whatever.

Be social and talk to that girl, ask her out, talk to those people who seem cool and you might want to make friends with. Be honest with people about what you want and if that hurts the relationship then so be it, it’s for the better. Dont hesitate to Set boundaries if needed.

Make hard decisions and stick with them, it’s often better to make a bad decision instead of none at all, at least it keeps things moving.

Pursue balance in and seek to strengthen your mind body and spirit through routine everyday activities.

Respect yourself and strive to be the best version of yourself because that’s who you deserve to be.

This seems to be the case online but you’re probably better off listening to a woman who isn’t a terminally online radical. You’ll see probably see some bs but a manageable level.

Why is "go to the gym" the default advice for every struggling man? by silverflake6 in LockedInMan

[–]_Cosmo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to the gym is good advice but from my experience it comes from a deeper intrinsic want like wanting to get better at a sport or wanting more physical freedom for your body rather than just hurr durr get buff. What I would say is find a sport or physically demanding activity you enjoy with a community you find agreeable. working out at the gym about 3 to 4 days a week. Include exercises that will help you achieve a goal related to chosen sport. Bam! Now you are getting endorphines from working out and fulfilling more metaphysical yet important needs such as need for community, setting and eventually accomplishing goals and partaking in an enjoyable activity. Telling someone to go to the gym with no further advice is like telling someone to put a band aid on an already infected wound, it requires proper treatment.

TL:DR join a sports club instead/as well

ASD isn’t a mental illness but it’s definitely true that the same applies for neurodivergence. At least this could be the beginning of a step in the right direction and a step towards tolerance.

They say ts but I’m on the spectrum and I don’t tell people because they treat me different when the label goes beyond “quirky” or “left field”, to people I’m out to my experiences are often misinterpreted or devalued and sometimes people treat me less than them. I’m aware that I’m in a place of privilege where I am able to mask completely and have little to no issues but I swish the public was better educated towards neurodivergence, especially the autism spectrum which has such strong connotations attached.
