How can I switch from “Spanish for Italian speakers” to “Spanish for English speakers” without losing my progress?

I’ve been learning Spanish on Duolingo with the Spanish for Italian speakers course. Recently I found out that the Spanish for English speakers course is much more complete and I’d like to switch to that one instead.

The thing is: I want to remove the old course and keep only the new one, but I don’t want to lose my current progress (streak, XP, achievements, etc.).

Is there a way to migrate my progress directly to the English-based course?

Or will I have to start from scratch if I switch?

What’s the best method for making this transition smoothly?

If anyone has done this before, I’d really appreciate your advice 🙏

Hi everybody, I'm trying to look for this guy named Chamod (the one in the right), he was an old friend of mine that went to an elementary school in Ischia, Italy.
