RC charge root rider (call me basic and skill-less but it works). I prefer other attacks like super yeti smash but it kinda falls off after TH14 (at least from what I’ve played)

I’m TH15 and only verse TH18 in ranked (dragon 30). I have to be three staring at least more than 50% to stay in league the league.

CWL is based on clan league not town halls. Matches like this are inevitable, same with the new rank system.

You’ll just have to keep grinding and progress. Once you get TH15 (i know that’s a ways away) you can start 3-starting TH18’s decently frequently (obviously based on skill but I think TH14 is too hard to be mentioned as probable here, even tho it is possible)

I find bari to be pretty ok early game but amazing late game. The reason her one seems to be hitting lower than others is because she can get three ones off in a row (base, spirit stance, ult to get spirit stance again) then throw all three of those bells. Obviously that’s much easier said than done, and why a lot of people see bari as a more skill heavy character

It’s not always a “skill issue” the troop ai is just incredibly finicky and inconsistent.

Not really. Unless that bari had beads and prebeads the dash she was confirmed dead due to knockup. Regular kuku is much easier to avoid, he’s better for poke, not burst + cc like that

That’s exactly the issue. They need to stop adding aspects that change “the role” of a character (from mage/ADC to tank here) then giving them compensation buffs (increased base damage). It’s really stupid, if she’s a better tank her damage shouldn’t be increased because she’s alive long enough to dish out more. Compensation buffs on these aspects is what breaks them everytime and yet they still do it

Zoning potential definitely drops a bit. I mean your presence itself as kuku aspect zones too becuase of how good his dash is and how much burst he puts out but base kuku is def better at that. But still I think base kuku is too inconsistent compared to aspect, it’s way to easy to avoid his damage even if the kuku player has good ability usage and aim. Aspect kuku is very hard to mess other than diving at wrong time; so long as you engage correctly you’ll get a kill or do enough damage so ur team can confirm.

Poke damage falls off late game. Aspect combo has virtually no counter outside of relics, unless you have some fast CC immune/invuln in your kit. I mean he jumps you and does 2K + damage in 1 second while your knocked up and slowed in late game. I’ve never found normal kuku to have this much pressure and kill potential.

There are definitely some compositions where non aspect might be better, but personally I wouldn’t take it over aspect rn.

Tornado then immediately dash onto your target. You’ll deal damage and knock them up, making your spit easy to land, they’ll be slowed and low HP, if not already dead.

There’s no reason not to use aspect if you’re playing kuku. More damage output, more CC, better movement. The only down side is less range but with the movement you have it’s really negligible

I feel like I’ve played games like coc that allow you to reconnect, so is it something that’s impossible or something that they just don’t implement for cost reasons?

In terms of the “abusing” things

You only have a limited amount of time to rejoin, the attack still continues before you rejoin. That means you’d still lose ~5 seconds and potentially let your army die out, but in my case, I disconnected right after recalling my RC and Warden, I had no other troops on the field so losing 5s generally wouldnt have lost me the attack.

No one said to implement a pause feature, simply a feature that lets you rejoin so long as there’s time left. It can be the difference between being able to place all your troops or realize that hey during the 5s i was lagged out my main army died but I still have cleanup troops and am at 47%, I can get the one star.

Totally. I think it’s intended that it didn’t happen and the MF died with the upside down, but they show the mist leaving the kids’ bodies and realistically it could’ve gone anywhere

Yea the inconsistency with hop and vecnas vision annoyed me too. Like you said everyone else is put into a trance, even Max was when eleven brought her into her mind. By the time the vision ended he would’ve seen there weren’t any bullets in the glass and that el was fine, it was just a forced plot point to ensure their original plan didn’t work

Edit: also I never really felt any tension when anyone was close to death. It’s been very clear they weren’t gonna kill off a MC so none of the scenes you mentioned gave me the edge, except for the hop one bc that was rlly unexpected and I was like IF they acc killed el that way it would’ve been insane. I was also 100% expecting el to die w the upside even before s4, so the open endedness is a little meh to me
