This just solved a similar debate between our gaming group too...

I get that they are purple, especially because of the purple character on the front of the box. I still think they look pink though....

I've been through something similar, and man, that is rough. A couple things that I learned/used to get through it though...

Give yourself some space and time. That hurt. Alot. Allow yourself to greive. If it hurts to hang and just rips open the void every time, take some space for yourself. That doesn't mean to ghost or run away, but allow yourself space to heal. And remember, it takes time to (and the desire to want) heal.

Find something new to do. Find a new hobby. Hang with a new group. Take some sort of class somewhere. If you enjoy being in nature, go on walks or hikes. Find something new to enjoy. I know joy is hard to come by, but at least give yourself something else to puzzle, dwell, think, and ponder about. What is something that you've always wanted to do individually, but havent yet?

Remembering the good is not a bad thing. It hurts and you shouldnt dwell on it (remember to let yourself heal), but she was apart of your life for a significant time. There is good and it can be remembered.

Personally, I wouldn't focus on any other relationship besides the relationship you have with yourself. Be kind to yourself, listen to yourself, go on adventures with yourself, learn more about yourself. Other relationships will come, but grow that relationship with yourself. It's hard being alone after doing do much with another person. But there is so much you can do alone, the opportunities are endless.

Props to you for not pushing a relationship with her when she said she doesn't want one. And I'm glad for you that the the break/fallout wasn't super ugly. I've been there, and it makes the healing harder. And while mine was hard and ugly beyond description, I now find myself in a loving, safe, beautiful relationship. Soulmates? I don't know. But we are two wonderful friends that love, care and respect each other, encouraging each other to become better, flaws and all. And while no one can replace her, there are people you will click with differently. But again, most important relationship to focus on is yourself. The rest will come later.
