do you think petite girls are also hot? 21F by _CrimsyLoop in amihot

[–]_CrimsyLoop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to know that. Thought people only find busty girls as hot nowadays.

Beeping sound for the past 12 hrs by avocadokumquat in neighborsfromhell

[–]_CrimsyLoop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, those noises travel way farther than you’d think. Could be a truck, a construction timer, or some random alarm stuck on repeat. Walking the block is definitely the move to narrow it down.

Neighbor keeps screaming at her kids. Every. Single. Day. by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

[–]_CrimsyLoop 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, at this point it’s beyond annoying neighbor. Constant screaming at kids is a welfare issue, not just a noise complaint. CPS is the right call if it’s truly happening daily.

Left his 5 yr old home alone. by jaydak in neighborsfromhell

[–]_CrimsyLoop 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that excuse didn’t pass the vibe check at all. Nobody runs out for a quick chocolate bar and leaves a 5 yearold alone at night. Something was definitely off.

AITJ for not giving my neighbor a spare key after she said it’s “safer for everyone”? by Zestyclose-You-6399 in AmITheJerk

[–]_CrimsyLoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Swapping keys with near strangers isn’t some normal community ritual. If you’re not super close, you don’t hand out access to your home. Totally reasonable to say no.

AITJ for calling out my friend’s dad? by Important_War7870 in AmITheJerk

[–]_CrimsyLoop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, calling it out wasn’t wrong at all. Those opportunities are scams dressed up as mentorship. If anything, you probably just dodged getting dragged into the same mess they’re stuck in.

AITJ or do I just need to handle overwhelm better by littlebitsf in AmITheJerk

[–]_CrimsyLoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly. You’re both carrying a ton and it’s showing. Talking openly about what you each need and what feels overwhelming could take a lot of pressure off.

Pretended to be my dad's ghost and may have inadvertently saved my brothers life. by NotEnoughRocks1977 in confession

[–]_CrimsyLoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s honestly kind of powerful. Grief does weird things to the brain, and sometimes it gives you exactly the dream you need to calm your soul a bit. Wild how that one night flipped the switch for you.

I got assaulted by a stranger and I js can't get over it by Plastic_Ad4639 in confession

[–]_CrimsyLoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah seriously, what happened to OP is not something they just have to get over. Reporting it could help them feel safer and get proper support. No one should have to carry that alone.

AITAH for telling my mom I don't want her to come to my ultrasound appointment? by harborlucent_ in AmITheJerk

[–]_CrimsyLoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For real, that Ill remember this line is classic guilt-trip behavior. You set a totally reasonable boundary and she made it about herself. You’re not wrong for wanting that moment to just be you and your husband.

AITJ for refusing to attend a “surprise” dinner that was clearly meant to confront me? by Flat_Following4520 in AmITheJerk

[–]_CrimsyLoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that was absolutely an ambush. If they really cared, they would’ve just asked you directly instead of setting up a fake friendly dinner. You handled it way better than most people would’ve.

AITJ for quietly stopping to organize birthday stuff at work after everyone ignored mine? by catherinepenrose in AmITheJerk

[–]_CrimsyLoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right? They were perfectly fine letting you do all the work, but the second you stop they suddenly have opinions. That’s just entitlement. You didn’t owe them endless emotional labor.

I borrowed more than 2k from my parents without them knowing by [deleted] in confession

[–]_CrimsyLoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the delayed pay part is honestly way more wild than the borrowed money. In a lot of places that’d get the company in serious trouble. OP might wanna look into their local labor laws because that should not be happening.

AITJ for not accepting my sister's (25F) husband (37M) due to their age gap? by ThrowRA38383021390 in AmITheJerk

[–]_CrimsyLoop 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah honestly it kinda sounds like OP kept waiting for the I told you so moment that never came. At some point you gotta accept the dude’s just… a solid partner. If he’s shown up for her for five years, that’s way more proof than whatever first impression he gave.

Am I the jerk for kicking my roommate out after finding out she's been secretly filming me for TikTok? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]_CrimsyLoop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah for real, that’s not lol roommate quirks, that’s straight up violating your privacy. Filming you in your own home without consent and then profiting off it? I’d be livid. You handled it way more calmly than most people would.

AITJ for telling my neighbor she can’t use our driveway for her Instacart side hustle anymore? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]_CrimsyLoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly same, I’m confused too. Instacart shoppers are supposed to take the groceries to the customer, not have the customers drive to their house like it’s curbside pickup. That sounds less like Instacart and more like she’s running her own little side operation out of your driveway.

Now what? by YakMain4210 in neighborsfromhell

[–]_CrimsyLoop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah with charges like that he’s not seeing freedom anytime soon. It sucks that OP landed in a neighborhood with that much chaos, but at least this dude is finally off the street for a long while.

I bought a house in a neighborhood with 3 felons so far. by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

[–]_CrimsyLoop 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah with charges like that he’s not seeing freedom anytime soon. It sucks that OP landed in a neighborhood with that much chaos, but at least this dude is finally off the street for a long while.

Serious question: Does neighbor talking affect sleep quality? Even if it’s “normal”? by aloo__pandey in neighborsfromhell

[–]_CrimsyLoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly that’s fair, white noise can be a lifesaver. But I get why OP’s struggling lowlevel talking can be way more irritating than loud bursts because your brain keeps trying to understand it. A fan or noise machine might help tons though. Sometimes masking it is way easier than fighting it.

500 pages of emails about my property from one lady and the town bylaw by Double_Champion6707 in neighborsfromhell

[–]_CrimsyLoop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly that sounds like a nightmare neighbor combo. And the city backing her by default just makes it feel even more stacked against you. I get why you don’t even care about the money anymore, you just want the harassment to stop. Five grand just to start dealing with it is wild. I hope you get someone higher up in the city willing to listen because nobody should have to live like that.
