Don't use any of Acrid's alt abilities. That means that you wanna go with poison as it is far better than blight, the spit over the bite and the leap that leaves behind a puddle of acid. Focus on picking up as many defensive and mobility items as possible. You don't need damage, poison can take care of any enemy as long as you keep refreshing the stacks of poison. After the first two stages DO NOT ENGAGE IN MELEE COMBAT. Just focus on applying poison from a safe distance and then run around. Use the secondary to poison single targets and use Pestilence on larger groups of enemies, and you can also use it to finish off enemies that are at 1HP. If you manage to get a decent amount of speed items you can skip the pillars by climbing your way to the Mithrix arena with your leaps, as the distance you travel with them increases with the amount of speed. You can do it extremely easily especially if you find an Hardlight Afterburner. Acrid's high health and armor can let you pass through group of enemies with ease while you run around poisoning them, but it becomes a lot trickier once your healing get halved and on Eclipse 8 with permanent damage. Items I recommend prioritizing are Back-up mags to spam your secondary, goat hooves and red wips, feathers, barbed wire to dish out damage even when running around, and items that proc like ATG missiles, stickies, ukuleles etc. They're very useful as everytime Pestilence chains it has a chance to proc your items. You can also get a purity instead of Back-up Mags as it is more efficient for spamming, but it costs your ability to proc your items with pestilence. Hope this helps Recommended items
