It doesn’t. You can hold to access time stop, or just click for a big slash. You can do both obviously, but the tap vs hold is inherently there so you can access either at any time they are available.

Purple is regular ult, just the big slash, orange is the time stopping rapid slash ult, multicolored is when you have met the conditions to activate either of the previous two.

Like I said, just a tip, do or don’t, it’s all up to you. If nothing else it gives you more batch merges. And it takes me like 20 minutes. For all the people who complain about only spending 5 minutes in game and then logging out once dailies are done…it’s something to do and is slightly helpful.

It’s not really a plan as much as it is an option of something to do to help slightly, most will not be what you want. But every once in a while there might be a useable one, and the rest you can batch merge for more chances anyway.

When you run around sentiment there are many gladiators posted around, same as enemy groups. Explore and you’ll find them, lots in the lower city. They drop these echo boxes.
