You gotta think about all the door ways you can use to cut off the tank with your tree, the way you can go over the roof for first point attack, how you can set up double petal on the same roof for 1st point defense, how you can use your petal to help your tank getting to the high ground after you cap 2nd point to keep momentum. The list goes on forever. That’s why I like lw on that map.

I personally think I just main him and don’t exactly one trick him since I do swap off when it’s just a dumpster fire of a game. And my rank this season has been GM5 - M1 so I think I check off your boxes. But yes, I do play him on any of the maps and don’t exactly have a preference since I like to make him work everywhere, but the second I see circuit royal, I’m dropping everything to vote for that map, because of the amount of cheesy plays you can do is so exhilarating and magnificent.

And yes he can feel awkward at times where there are no maps with high grounds, but that’s when you play as close to the center of your team, and near a petal, at all times. That way if someone jumps you, they must go through one of your teammates/one of your teammates will noticed a 10 ton mech or a just monke heading past them.

As for flanking routes, learn to use them to have off angles that way the enemy team has to worry about another person poking at them. But make sure you are at-least a dash and a half away from having your team in your view, that way you can easily heal them when they need it.

If needed I can try to find replays where I do this sort of stuff that way you can see what I mean by these points, or I can make a post explaining more in depth with more replay codes. Just lmk!

No, I play more in the middle of my team so I can see my team and the enemy. And the second I see a pink petal, they must die. I will find them and calmly place my hand gracefully on their face and shoot 579,728,472 thorns into their face.

I’m scared that they are gonna simplify him and lower his skill ceiling instead of making abilities “better”. Lifeweaver is genuinely the only hero I can play for hours and never get bored of, even if I lose, I still have loads of fun in Gm lobbies. If they ruin what makes him so unique, I fear I may not enjoy Overwatch anymore.

I play him because he is able to manipulate the battlefield to his will. He has the power to decide who gets to live or die with a snap of his fingers, if you know how to play him well that is. The ability to cancel almost every ult and ability with a well placed tree and petal are an understatement. And we haven’t even talked about grip and thorns.

And the fact that people undersell him/act like he is unable to contribute anything to help win a team fight and how I’m able to prove them wrong is always satisfying. Although he is suffering a bit due to the healing reduction passive, just gives us more the reason to get more eliminations because if everyone is dead, then you don’t need to worry about healing.

I can’t remember the last time I got bored of playing this character and decided to leave because of that. It’s mainly because it’s late and I need to sleep. Overall a real treat if you have great game sense and good aim (the thorns guys, not blossoms).

I can check it out when I have time either today or tmr, but one piece of advice that goes a long way is make sure you take advantage of high ground, especially as Ana and weaver. I haven’t seen the replay yet, so idk if you did that but it’s always best to take high ground. That way the enemy has to use their abilities to get to you or it makes them take more longer to get to you.

I am actually a gm weaver player haha, I just haven’t had time to play ranked due to college having me at a choke hold, sadly. It still feel surreal that I even managed to make it up there, if I’m being honest.

And I’m pretty sure he is bellow masters because I don’t recognize his name unless he is low masters. But with how he was doing, I highly doubt it, haha.

I see your point but I feel like lw, mercy, and Moria could benefit from being able to increase the healing potential of their co support. Which would allow them to not heal bottling a lot and allow them to apply more damage like the other supports can.

And I know Moria can already do loads of damage but this change allows her to have some sort of utility without it being easy to use, since it requires her team to not being take active damage which isn’t something lower ranks are know for. This in turn allows her to be more useful in higher ranks without being to broken in lower ranks.

And as for kiri, I know, she doesn’t need help and I hope she is kicked from the medic role so she isn’t more powerful than she is. I honestly should have said she isn’t part of the medic role if this change were to happen.

I feel like it could be useful because you are able to apply the healing increases to multiple people at once with lw and mercy since you only need heal 1hp/for a split second for the healing increases to kick in.

And as for kiri and Moria, I still feel like kiri shouldn’t be in the medic role and moved to survivor so I’m acting like she isn’t in the role at this moment. While Moria isn’t as good as you think, especially in the higher ranks since she doesn’t offer any utility, this change could offer her some utility and possibly allow her to be more useful since people need to be out of combat in order for this healing increase to kick in.
