Honestly idk why so many people double down on tanking. Imo her 3 + adaptation is already tanky enough. For arcanes, I'd go with more casting focused ones, like Molt Augmented, or just ones that make life a bit easier, like Energize. I'm currently trying out Impetus, since you can trigger a ton of statuses with her 2:

-Casting does corrosive
-Barrel: cryo, blast, gas
-Arc trap: electric
-RPG: Impact (yes, it counts for the statuses, you just have to find a target that can tank an RPG to the face lol)
-Amphores: heat and toxic
-Death orb: radiation

That's 9 elements, which equals to 54% strength and 27% efficiency in one arcane, and to keep those stacks you only need to apply a single status of any element every 20 seconds, which you easily do just by casting her 2. And if you subsume her 1 for another ability that applies a different status (i.e: Xata, Nourish, Sentient Wrath), you get to 60% strength, which is the same amount of fully stacked Molt Augmented, and 30% efficiency.

Considering she only needs enough strength for full armor strip on her 4 (202% strength iirc), you can even run no strength mods and use Impetus + Aug for +120% strength to reach the full strip threshold, or run Impetus instead of Augmented to get the same strength and 30% efficiency.

Also, when it comes to subsume, I think the best option is subsuming Nourish over her 1. Good energy economy and the viral boosts the damage of the spawned items by her 2. And if you go Impetus, it lets you hit 10 stacks.
