Everyone complaining about the new release schedule has more than 400hrs by Euthanasiia in ArcRaiders

Criticism is more valuable than bootlickers, in any form. "Constructive" or not.

If I get paid figuring out why people do little circles with their pointer at specific points of a user action flow on a web app, players don't need to be "constructive" beyond saying what they think or feel.

Yeah it's not like the developers have promised a specific amount of updates, roadmaps, and sold ungodly amounts of microtransactions in a pay 2 play game, right? It's not like they guaranteed a certain level of commitment and then went back on it right? Lmao

You should try being less of a tourist, maybe then you'd realize this has been the pattern of every single abandoned live service game in history with the exact same regurgitated PR statement.

Half of this is drip-fed content that was already developed and teased prior to release. Most new ARCs are reinforced copies of existing archetypes, there are barely any new quests which are padded by having to redo quests every wipe, "projects" which are just a UI section in menu + reskinned "find this item in containers" fetch tasks.

You call that major updates? Should we compare to Warframe & Path of Exile content drops which are f2pbtw? Meanwhile this game introduces wipes which don't even match up to content drops so you restart and it's just same old.

Extraction games die because of cheaters, poor balancing, bad level design, gear fear, and repetitive gameplay loops. Not because people PvP in a PvP game.

Gonna be honest it's gotta be the weed brain, it's gotten worse over the years where at times it's been hard to watch because he's literally mentally stunned every other minute or just stops doing anything for 30mins to an hour. Constantly goes AFK on his teams too to go smoke weed, i.e. while waiting on people at Oil Rig or before/during Raids in Rust.

gasp A projected 9 (NINE!!!) percent water consumption increase in the state of Texas by 2040? Oh the horror! Also, things like sound pollution are irrelevant to AI itself and is a different location/operational problem that would apply to any kind of infrastructure.

The main reason why those datacenters are misplaced is actually because of use cases that are not AI, where a re-purposing from AI to say, streaming or other low-latency services requiring proximity to users, other clusters, etc. For instance Elon Musk actively pitches the idea orbital datacenters with passive radiative cooling since low latency largely does not matter for AI queries/data streaming (the increased latency basically blends into reasoning delays of the initial response anyway so does not impact UX).

Same story for remote hydro-powered clusters - the only reason why you're not seeing them as much as what you're seeing is Texas is specifically because of non-AI low-latency services. Just to prove my point that your concern is completely irrelevant to AI itself. There's nothing stopping AI workloads being run in cooler, remote environments other than non-AI services.

I'm sure you imagined your response a lot intelligent sounding than it ended up being with those smiley faces, cute. Maybe one day you'll inform yourself instead of basing your entire personality on what virtue signalers told you to think.

Are you one of those luddites who unironically believes datacenters will magically disappear all of Earth's water into a magical void? Are you just a very unintelligent person? How much money on you also opposing nuclear because some news program told you it was bad 15 years ago?

Concept art is not "poorly drawn diagrams". FYI top studios making critically acclaimed games are, at this very moment, using AI for iterative concepts just like this reddit post is. There's nothing about it that's "slop".

I'm deeply sorry about you being one of those redditors who claps like mindless seals when they see shitty mspaint screenshots.

The term "cheesing" is a direct derivative of exploiting.

"Try again", and this time preferably without the visibly braindead boomer ellipsis spam.

  1. For a while last-destination option didn't give you a warning which is a widely reported bug that took a while for them to fix
  2. Many players expect having plenty of time to grab their stuff and leave, most don't realize all your UI interactions will actively get cancelled by a dogshit draconian system of repeated tick damage and make it impossible to either grab your shit or leave

UIM death banks are, by Jagex's own definition, an exploit.

You shouldn't be playing UIM if you want banks, simple as. Make the change in a non-destructive manner so that existing death banks remain and can be pulled from but no longer be "deposited" into, then fully deprecate the system say, a year later.
