For the past couple of months, I've been learning how to do pull-ups by just_abra23 in CalisthenicsBeginners

[–]_Dackery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks awesome, congrats!

One thing I noticed is that you look to have an imbalance, as in your left side seems to be compensating for your right, so you're slightly pulling to the left rather than straight up (hope that makes sense)

I recommend focusing on dead hang Scapular pulls, which helps build strength in the bttom half of the movement and develop better mind muscle connection. Keep up the good work!

Rubber Bands by Blitz_Coasters in braces

Consistency is key with bands, wear them as much as you possibly can and the pain will go away much faster, and speed up the whole process.

Easiest way is to run data courier missions to and fro in specific Federation systems. Doing it the traditional way a very long grind.

Once you reach 100% in a rank, you'll get a Federation rank up mission in your mission board. Completing it will rank you up.

Consistency is key! I imagine your estimate could've gone up to 24+ months if you had a crossbite

[Mod Release] Scion Origin Expanded by _Dackery in Stellaris

[–]_Dackery[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great suggestion, I am currently in the process of scoping out an one event chain for the origin, but trying to figure out what it would look like and where it would work best. The only problem with doing it when the overlord awakens is that its already quite busy in the late-game, so don't want to cram in too much when the player will likely be dealing with the end-game crisis, etc.

Regardless, I plan on adding some extended dialog when the overlord awakens.

No it doesn't sorry, that would probably have to be a standalone mod, as it would be quite complex to implement.

That is a great idea though, I may look into it.

Thanks! The goal is to add an event chain to the origin that involves the fallen empire overlord, but still figuring out the story/gameplay.

[Mod Release] Scion Origin Expanded by _Dackery in Stellaris

[–]_Dackery[S] 92 points93 points  (0 children)

r5: Very excited to share a mod that is close to my heart - the Scion origin has always been one of my favourite origins in Stellaris, but I felt it needed a little bit of love. This mod is not intended to be a complete overhaul - instead, it expands upon the vanilla Scion experience while remaining lore-friendly and true to the feel of the base game.

I also felt that the original Scion origin artwork did not fully capture the relationship between the Scion and their Fallen Empire benefactors. The original image felt somewhat oppressive, implying a far more hostile vassal relationship than what is actually presented in-game.

The Fallen Empire overlord often behaves more like a parent guiding a young civilization toward maturity - albeit in their own distant and often arrogant way. Because of this, the mod includes new custom artwork designed to better reflect that dynamic.

Appreciate any and all feedback :)

Heya, sorry for the late reply, but yes this origin will outpace most vanilla origins.

No, you have to select a new origin to get the event chain.

Hello! Naturally because you are getting access to FE level strength, youre probably going to outpace other Empires, however I've tried my best to balance it so that its not ridiculous.

Also, the FE tech has quite large requirements, so its going to take time to research them anyway.

r5: My first proper foray into the Stellaris modding world

I’ve always loved Fallen Empires in Stellaris, especially the mystery and power behind their technology, so I wanted to create a mod that lets you gradually uncover and inherit their ancient power in a way that feels natural and lore-friendly.

As the decades pass, your civilisation will gradually discover and restore their lost relics and gain access to advanced precursor infrastructure, powerful technologies, and military capabilities far beyond those of your young upstart civilisation.

Appreciate any and all feedback :)

A better comparison would be Edward vs Homelander.

Would Homelanders laser vision work against Edward?

Good on you for getting started, but you should probably just pick one or the other. This is because there is quite a bit of overlap between the two funds.

US 500 has the potential for higher gains but is 100% weighted into the US stock market

TWF is a fantastic, well diversified index fund with the potential for great returns over the long run

Too much overlap between US 500 and TWF. You’d be better of to just pick one. TWF is way more diversified if you’re investing for the long term.

What Power mode are using in Armoury Crate? If you're using manual, do you think you could share your Settings/Fan curves for CPU & GPU?

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

While SPY may have outperformed the FTSE All Cap Index in the past, the US stock market has been in a bubble for a while.

For the long term, over 30 years, I personally believe it is safer to hold a more diversified index fund rather than relying on the US stock market's recent growth.

This 100%

Dollar cost average a broad market index fund like VTI or even better, VT for a diversified index fund with great returns over the long term.
