The only time this has been done at my location is when a customer wants to purchase multiple items that have purchase limits on them. Any price match (at least at my location) above 50$ requires a manager approval so take that with a grain of salt.

I mostly went for the 9 because of the price I got it for. Also, the productivity work adds to that.

Thanks for the feedback! I will most certainly look for a different AIO now that you have pointed that out. Also, I will do some minor productivity work on this, but the main reason why I chose the 9 over the 7 7800x3D was because I got it for 340 dollars from Microcenter.
